It screams “hipster / trying way too hard” to me. I’m all for using rare classic names, of course, but Clementine is name-nerd popular and, yeah, brings oranges to mind. Of course I don’t like most -ine names so maybe I’m biased?
I do think Clement for a boy is a really good name.
