[Opinions] Edmund
Ever since i saw Narnia ive been thinking about this name alot. Even when i read the books i never really liked it. But since i saw what an 'Edmund' would look like (ive never met a real one) i have really liked it.What would be a 'classic' but funky middle name for it. Something witha bit of spunk that isnt 'trendy'
Could you see it working with my names?Aubrey
Caspian
Hamish
Magnus
Amias
Rowan

I adore Mansfield Park!As I told Bex: "There is nobleness in the name of Edmund. It is a name of heroism and renown; of kings, princes, and knights" - Jane Austen, Mansfield ParkI almost out Edmund Bertram on my list, but I did put Edmund Thomas and Edmund Henry! :D

Yes, that's the money quote. I saw your post after writing mine. I was very happy to see the Manfield Park quote about Edmund written out like that. Nicely done. But you stole many of my ideas before I could write them down. ;-)

I know what you mean about Edmund, the boy in Narnia really made me like his real name, Skandar, but it also really made me like Edmund too. The little girl made me really also love the name Lucy! :DEdmund is a really noble name, but perhaps it's my favorite author who said it best: "There is nobleness in the name of Edmund. It is a name of heroism and renown; of kings, princes, and knights" - Jane Austen, Mansfield ParkAnyway, I do think it goes nicely with the other names you listed, especially Aubrey and Caspian!
What do you think of these Edmund combos?
Edmund Peter
Edmund James
Edmund Thomas
Edmund Henry
Edmund Charles
Edmund Frederick
Edmund George
Edmund Gerald
Edmund Dominic
Edmund Philip
Edmund Lucian
Edmund Julian
Edmund Oliver
Edmund Bruce
Edmund Brock (Charles Edmund Brock is one of my favorite book illustrators)

I grew up with a little boy named Edmund who lived down the block from me. He was a weird kid; their whole family was weird. His brother's name was York (Yorke?) so that's the first think I thought of as a offbeat mn.
