This is funny because you just posted about Patricia , and Patricia and Pamela are my two younger sisters' names.
I really like Pamela and think it was the best name out of five that my mom used. It's the only one of my siblings' names that is on my PNL. I like how literary it feels, having been invented by a poet and having been the title of one of the first novels in the English language.
I know from past posts that many people say they like Pamela but object to Pam. I think Pam is spunky and cute.

I like it. I think it's pretty. Although I don't care for the nickname Pam.
Pamela is very pretty. I wish mor Pamelas went by the full name instead of Pam. Pam just sounds harsh and it's also the spray I use on my cookie sheets.
I dislike it...I think that might be because of various vague negative associations rather than because of the sound, though.
