[Opinions] Andrea, Andrés, André or Andreas?
Hi !!!
I would like to ask you an opinion on these four forms of the same name.
Andrea is the Italian variant
Andrés is the Spanish one
Andreas is the original Greek form used also in many countries.
André the French form.
I strongly dislike Andrea because it is boring and weak imo.
Andreas and Andrés instead are more lively and both quite close to the Italian language. André instead is more old-fashionable but fascinating as well. I like them!
So...which one and why?
And if you were Italian?

I dislike for Andrea for a boy - I only like it for a girl - but I love Andrés, Andreas, and André for a boy. I really don't think I can decide or even narrow it more than that.
I have no idea how I would feel if I was Italian since I am not Italian.
I've known many men named André but only one Andreas and I've met no men named Andrés or Andrea. I've met quite a few women named Andrea. If Andrea wasn't such a female name in the US I actually might like it for a boy.
