Don't like it on a boy. Like it less on a girl. Roz and Rose are both better.

My instinct is that it's probably short for Rosalind or Rosalyn or something similar. It's not bad, but kind of dated. I kind of like Ross for a guy, but I also have Chandler on my list, so...

Oh, okay. In all honestly I don't feel passionately enough about Ross as a masculine name to care about it being used on the "wrong" gender. At least she isn't Bruce or Thomas or something.

I personally prefer it on a boy but it is ok on a girl as it has a nature-location-meaning.

In addiction my name is Rossana and often my friends call me Ross. There is nothing wrong with it imo

Ugh. Nothing feminine about it. I can't say I really like it for a boy, but it's much worse on a girl.
