I know three Madelines ( well, one is Madeline, one is Madlyn and one is Madeleine).
All three say it differently. Madeline says Mad-eh-Lyn, Madlyn says Mad-lyn and Madeleine says mad-eh-len. I dislike Mad-a-line it seems forced and sing-songy. But Madeleine said Mad-eh-len is divine. I just hate Maddy with a passion. why oh why put Mad in your daughter's nickname?
