Helios and Bea have just celebrated their marriage--in a large ceremony in their hometown. THey knew each other growing up and, though both attended Hogwarts, didn't interact much there. After graduating, both returned to their hometown, where Helios opened his very own potion shop. Bea found a job working in the Department of Magical Transportation. She likes it more than she thought--and it gives her plenty of people to talk to.

Helios and Bea took a trip to Sweden this year. Helios went there to procure some supplies for his shop that he was having difficulty locating locally. Bea decided to go along to get out of Scotland--she's never travelled outside the country, other than to Hogwarts. She enjoyed seeing all the sights in Sweden, and Helios was able to get the supplies he needed. The two of them returned home refreshed and ready to get back to life in Portree.

This year, Helios and Bea were able to attend the Quidditch World Cup! Helios played chaser for Slytherin when he was at Hogwarts and loved it. Bea has never been a big fan of Quidditch, but went along to support Helios (and she enjoyed watching because he enjoyed it so much).

Helios and Bea welcomed their first child this year--a son they named Tybalt. Ty was born with a shock of blond hair. When Ty was a few weeks old, Bea noticed that his hair would change color when he was tired or hungry. Thats when they found out he was a Metamorphagus. Bea is a little worried about how they will deal with Ty's magical abilities--neither she nor Helios manifested their abilities until they were nine. Helios assures her that they will deal with things as they come.

This year, Bea took a new position within the Ministry--moving from Dept. of Magical Transportation to the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures. Her new position is based out of Whitehall, in London. She and Helios moved to a small home in London, and Bea can practically walk to work. Helios' shop was doing well in Portree, so he has hired a new manager and now manages the shop from afar. He is beginning to forge new relationships in London with the shopkeepers and suppliers there. Ty is just starting to toddle around now and, though his hair regularly changes color depending on his mood, not much else happens.

Helios and Bea celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary this year. Their second child, a son, was born a few months ago. Odin is a happy, bubbly child. Ty wasn't sure what to make of him at first, but is now getting used to having a baby in the house.

This year, Helios and Bea's world changed drastically when a tragedy in the wizarding world affected the outside world of muggles. Emma, a seventeen year old girl, lost her parents to the event, and realized for the first time that magic exists. Helios and Bea took her in as she was struggling to adjust to her new reality. Six months later, they officially adopted her. Emma plans to go to University in the fall, but for now, she enjoys playing with Ty and Odin.

This year, a terrible storm swept through London, resulting in widespread damage and casualties. Helios and Bea spent long hours helping repair damage. Emma returned home from school and, though she helped with some of the repairs, spent more of her time watching Ty and Odin (neither of whom could attend daycare at the time).

Because of the storm last year, Helios made a lot of local contacts and suppliers for emergency supplies and basic supplies for construction. He decided to open a new hardware store (for both muggles and wizards). He continues to manage his potion shop in Portree, and it is doing well. Emma has travelled to University to study business, and she is hoping to help Helios run his shops when she graduates in a few years. Ty started Kindergarten this year, and Odin is now going to preschool three mornings a week. He hasn't shown his magic yet, which is somewhat of a sore spot between he and Ty (who can now change more of his appearance at will).

Helios and Bea celebrated their tenth wedding anniversary at the hospital, where Bea gave birth to their third son--Arran. Ty was very excited about Arran's arrival, and he spent several days trying to turn himself into a baby too--which succeeded for a few hours at a time for several weeks, causing disruptions in school and at home. Odin started Kindergarten this year, and has been throwing more temper tantrums than normal--after all, Ty is getting lots of attention and the new baby is getting lots of attention--he just wanted some attention too. Bea is glad to be a stay-at-home mom through this rough patch in life. She isn't sure how she would have balanced working and raising the three boys. Emma is in her final year of school, and she has met a wonderful young man. They hope to be married after graduation.

This year, Ty received a toad for his ninth birthday. He named the creature Styx and it goes everywhere with him. This year, Emma married her long time boyfriend, Jonathan Cambridge. She and Jon live in London. Emma works for Helios' hardware store, while Jon is an electical engineer for a small firm.

This year, Helios and Bea took the family on vacation to France. While there, Odin's magic manifested itself for the first time, causing some trouble, but overall jubilation from both Ty and Odin. Since Ty has always been able to use his magic, there was some concern that Odin hadn't yet manifested his abilities. Ty has been trying to teach Odin how to change his appearance, but it hasn't worked for them yet. Ty is also SO excited about going to Hogwarts next year. Helios' shops continue to do well, and he is thinking about opening a wand shop as well. Bea's in-home daycare has grown to eight youngsters (four of whom have manifested magical abilities in the last year, making things adventurous for Bea).

Toad: Styx*
This year has been a big year for the Spinnets. Emma and Jon Cambridge welcomed a little boy, whom they named Charlie--an exciting event for Helios and Bea, who now consider themselves grandparents. Ty went to Hogwarts this year and was sorted into Hufflepuff. He was saddened when Styx passed away at the ripe old age of two and a half, but he was able to take a small cat to Hogwarts with him. He has named the small black and white animal Luca. His favorite class is Defence Against the Dark Arts, and he has enrolled in the Duelling Club--something Bea wasn't fond of, but that Helios encouraged. Because of his good work ethic and strong academic performance, Odin was selected to spend a year in Sweden at a junior boarding school associated with Durmstrang. He is having a great time and writes home often. Arran is having a hard time with both brothers away, but he is looking forward to going to Kindergarten next year and he has enjoyed playing with all of his friends at Bea's in-home daycare.

Helios accomplished a long-term goal this year when he opened his third shop--a wand shop. He and Bea also celebrated their fifteenth wedding anniversary as well as the birth of their second grandchild--a little girl named Felicity. Ty is doing well in his studies and loves the duelling club. He decided not to try out for the Quidditch team this year, much to Helios' disappointment.

This year, Bea decided to shut down the in-home daycare (after all, Arran is in school all day now, and both Ty and Odin are away at Hogwarts). She wanted to find something completely different, and found a position as a Healer--something she has never done, but had qualified for upon graduation from Hogwarts. Ty, now in his third year at Hogwarts, is taking elective courses in Muggle Studies and Care of Magical Creatures. He is receiving especially high marks in Muggle Studies--which he attributes to having grown up with an older sister who is a muggle and spending lots of time with cousins who are muggles. Odin was so excited to go to Hogwarts, and was even more excited to be sorted into Hufflepuff House--same as Ty! Odin took an owl with him to Hogwarts, a small snowy owl he named Harriet. Odin's favorite class is charms, and has joined the Gobstones club with a bunch of his first year friends.

This year, Helios' great aunt Arbora passed away at the age of ninety-seven. She bequeathed a large sum of money, most of which he has invested into his business. Emma and Jon welcomed their third child, a son named Owen. Ty, now in his fourth year at Hogwarts, is adjusting well. Though he didn't try out for the Quidditch team for the past several years, this year he decided to try out for the team, and he made it! He is now a keeper for Hufflepuff House and is loving Quidditch more than he thought. Odin, now a second year, also tried out for the Quidditch team, though he did not make it this year. He has been enjoying going to watch Ty play, however.

This year, Helios wrote a book on wizarding and business. He has been a very successful businessman in a variety of markets. Emma and Jon come frequently for visits to the Spinnet home and, though they both realize the existence of magic, none of their children are aware of its existence yet. This year, Arran's magic manifested itself for the first time as well, much to his delight. Ty, now a fifth year, is neither a Quidditch captain or a House prefect, but he is okay without having the extra responsibility. Odin, now in his third year, has decided to take Arithmancy and Muggle Studies as elective courses. With his increased studies, he chose not to try out for the Quidditch team this year, but is thinking about doing so next year.

This year, Arran got his first pet--a toad he named Jax. Ty has been telling him all the stories of when he had his toad, Styx, and Arran was inspired. Ty is in his sixth year at Hogwarts, and has decided to drop one of his standard subjects to take Alchemy. He is enjoying the challenge of the class with the added challenge of taking it in Brazil. He is spending a year abroad at Castelobruxo. Odin, now a fourth year, tried out for the Quidditch team again and made it as a Hufflepuff chaser! Arran, now that his magic has manifested, is looking forward to joining his brothers at Hogwarts in a few short years.

Helios and Bea celebrated their twentieth wedding anniversary this year! When Arran's toad was killed in a magical accident, Helios and Bea bought him a Puffskein, whom he named Tristan. Emma and Jon welcomed a fourth child, a son they named Bryan. Charlie and Felicity are both in school now, but they still love playing with Arran and their older cousins (when they're home).
Ty, now in his seventh year, has returned safely from Brazil and is enjoying playing Quidditch with Odin, and the two of them make great contributions to the team. Odin, a fifth year, is busy with his studies and playing Quidditch (and spending all the time he can with Ty, who is in his last year).

This year, Helios and Bea traveled to China on vacation. They enjoyed seeing such sights as the Great Wall of China. Ty graduated from Hogwarts and is currently working as a Journalist. Odin, in his sixth year, has dropped a subject to concentrate more on Quidditch (a decision that Helios and Bea aren't happy about, but have decided to allow it). Odin is also staying at Hogwarts for his sixth year. Arran, in his words, is finally going to Hogwarts! He was sorted into Hufflepuff, like his brothers, and is taking an owl with him. She is a large spotted barn owl named Ebbie. His favorite class is charms, while he also enjoys Ghoul Studies.

Helios and Bea have just celebrated their marriage--in a large ceremony in their hometown. THey knew each other growing up and, though both attended Hogwarts, didn't interact much there. After graduating, both returned to their hometown, where Helios opened his very own potion shop. Bea found a job working in the Department of Magical Transportation. She likes it more than she thought--and it gives her plenty of people to talk to.

Helios and Bea welcomed their first child this year--a son they named Tybalt. Ty was born with a shock of blond hair. Bea is a little worried about how they will deal with Ty's magical abilities--neither she nor Helios manifested their abilities until they were nine. This year, Bea took a new position within the Ministry--moving from Dept. of Magical Transportation to the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures. Her new position is based out of Whitehall, in London. She and Helios moved to a small home in London, and Bea can practically walk to work. Helios' shop was doing well in Portree, so he has hired a new manager and now manages the shop from afar. He is beginning to forge new relationships in London with the shopkeepers and suppliers there. Ty is just starting to toddle around now and, though his hair regularly changes color depending on his mood, not much else happens.

This year, Helios and Bea's world changed drastically when a tragedy in the wizarding world affected the outside world of muggles. Emma, a seventeen year old girl, lost her parents to the event, and realized for the first time that magic exists. Helios and Bea took her in as she was struggling to adjust to her new reality. Six months later, they officially adopted her. Emma plans to go to University in the fall, but for now, she enjoys playing with Ty and Odin.

This year, a terrible storm swept through London, resulting in widespread damage and casualties. Helios and Bea spent long hours helping repair damage. Because of the storm last year, Helios made a lot of local contacts and suppliers for emergency supplies and basic supplies for construction. He decided to open a new hardware store (for both muggles and wizards). He continues to manage his potion shop in Portree, and it is doing well. Emma has travelled to University to study business, and she is hoping to help Helios run his shops when she graduates in a few years. Ty started Kindergarten this year, and Odin is now going to preschool three mornings a week. He hasn't shown his magic yet, which is somewhat of a sore spot between he and Ty (who can now change more of his appearance at will).

Helios and Bea celebrated their tenth wedding anniversary at the hospital, where Bea gave birth to their third son--Arran. Ty was very excited about Arran's arrival, and he spent several days trying to turn himself into a baby too--which succeeded for a few hours at a time for several weeks, causing disruptions in school and at home. Odin started Kindergarten this year, and has been throwing more temper tantrums than normal--after all, Ty is getting lots of attention and the new baby is getting lots of attention--he just wanted some attention too. Bea is glad to be a stay-at-home mom through this rough patch in life. She isn't sure how she would have balanced working and raising the three boys. Emma is in her final year of school, and she has met a wonderful young man. They hope to be married after graduation.

This year, Helios and Bea took the family on vacation to France. While there, Odin's magic manifested itself for the first time, causing some trouble, but overall jubilation from both Ty and Odin. Since Ty has always been able to use his magic, there was some concern that Odin hadn't yet manifested his abilities. Ty has been trying to teach Odin how to change his appearance, but it hasn't worked for them yet. Ty is also SO excited about going to Hogwarts next year. Helios' shops continue to do well, and he is thinking about opening a wand shop as well. Bea's in-home daycare has grown to eight youngsters (four of whom have manifested magical abilities in the last year, making things adventurous for Bea).

This year has been a big year for the Spinnets. Emma and Jon Cambridge welcomed a little boy, whom they named Charlie--an exciting event for Helios and Bea, who now consider themselves grandparents. Ty went to Hogwarts this year and was sorted into Hufflepuff. He was saddened when Styx passed away at the ripe old age of two and a half, but he was able to take a small cat to Hogwarts with him. He has named the small black and white animal Luca. His favorite class is Defence Against the Dark Arts, and he has enrolled in the Duelling Club--something Bea wasn't fond of, but that Helios encouraged. Because of his good work ethic and strong academic performance, Odin was selected to spend a year in Sweden at a junior boarding school associated with Durmstrang. He is having a great time and writes home often. Arran is having a hard time with both brothers away, but he is looking forward to going to Kindergarten next year and he has enjoyed playing with all of his friends at Bea's in-home daycare.

This year, Bea decided to shut down the in-home daycare (after all, Arran is in school all day now, and both Ty and Odin are away at Hogwarts). She wanted to find something completely different, and found a position as a Healer--something she has never done, but had qualified for upon graduation from Hogwarts. Ty, now in his third year at Hogwarts, is taking elective courses in Muggle Studies and Care of Magical Creatures. He is receiving especially high marks in Muggle Studies--which he attributes to having grown up with an older sister who is a muggle and spending lots of time with cousins who are muggles. Odin was so excited to go to Hogwarts, and was even more excited to be sorted into Hufflepuff House--same as Ty! Odin took an owl with him to Hogwarts, a small snowy owl he named Harriet. Odin's favorite class is charms, and has joined the Gobstones club with a bunch of his first year friends.

This year, Helios' great aunt Arbora passed away at the age of ninety-seven. She bequeathed a large sum of money, most of which he has invested into his business. Though he didn't try out for the Quidditch team for the past several years, this year he decided to try out for the team, and he made it! This year, Arran got his first pet--a toad he named Jax. Ty has been telling him all the stories of when he had his toad, Styx, and Arran was inspired. Ty is in his sixth year at Hogwarts, and has decided to drop one of his standard subjects to take Alchemy. He is enjoying the challenge of the class with the added challenge of taking it in Brazil. He is spending a year abroad at Castelobruxo. Odin, now a fourth year, tried out for the Quidditch team again and made it as a Hufflepuff chaser! Arran, now that his magic has manifested, is looking forward to joining his brothers at Hogwarts in a few short years.

Helios and Bea celebrated their twentieth wedding anniversary this year! When Arran's toad was killed in a magical accident, Helios and Bea bought him a Puffskein, whom he named Tristan. Emma and Jon welcomed a fourth child, a son they named Bryan. Charlie and Felicity are both in school now, but they still love playing with Arran and their older cousins (when they're home).
Ty, now in his seventh year, has returned safely from Brazil and is enjoying playing Quidditch with Odin, and the two of them make great contributions to the team. Odin, a fifth year, is busy with his studies and playing Quidditch (and spending all the time he can with Ty, who is in his last year).

This year, Helios and Bea traveled to China on vacation. They enjoyed seeing such sights as the Great Wall of China. Ty graduated from Hogwarts and is currently working as a Journalist. Odin, in his sixth year, has dropped a subject to concentrate more on Quidditch (a decision that Helios and Bea aren't happy about, but have decided to allow it). Odin is also staying at Hogwarts for his sixth year. Arran, in his words, is finally going to Hogwarts! He was sorted into Hufflepuff, like his brothers, and is taking an owl with him. She is a large spotted barn owl named Ebbie. His favorite class is charms, while he also enjoys Ghoul Studies.
