[Opinions] Re: Nature
in reply to a message by RDNZL
Well, I guess that's the way things are. hahIt's ... about as pretty sounding as Gertrude or Sawyer.I can totally imagine forgetting about the word "nature" if I knew someone named Nature. Like I forget that Grace is a word when I talk to a Grace. That's not to say it is namey, but ... it's not totally non-namey.
I like to imagine she has a brother named Universe and sister named Existence.- mirfak

Nature, Universe, and Existence. Lololol lololol. Man, these "names" are just dying to be used together in a novel set in the Scientology world.

I know that this was said sarcastically, but... I am actually really liking the name Existence, haha. Though I would never actually use it, I kind of like it. Like the name "Dream", though I honk there's a greater chance of me using that.

I think Dasein would make a good name! hahaThis reminds me, I once had a dream about someone named "Thronis." Probably because I encountered the word "thrownness," and I had fixated on the sound of the word for a minute trying to figure out why it sounds so odd (I think maybe because it's a near-homonym for "thoroughness").Is "honk" an autocorrect error or is that some new slang?

"Honk" is an autocorrect error, oops. This is why I shouldn't post anything after midnight, haha. I meant to say "think" *hangs head in shame*. Was Dasein supposed to be "Dream" or was that another name you mentioned that I completely forgot about, haha?Thronis is interesting. It reminds me of Adonis, haha, which I actually like but can never use, partly because of the Greek mythology reference, but mostly because I read a book in which the cat was named Adonis and now that is all I see. Would you ever actually use Thronis?

haha, that's funny that it put "honk," of all things. It's a funny word, honk.
Dasein - some German philosopher's word? I think meant to mean something like "existence," but with specific connotations. Looks like a badass name to me (would never use of course).
I'd never use Thronis. I think it sounds pretty terrible! Adonis isn't half as bad. But it's always funny to me to think of it used for a person, whether good-looking or not. So silly. As silly as Sirius.

I probably typed "honk" myself in my sleep-deprived state, haha. Ah, autocorrect, how I love thee (she said sarcastically).Ah, that makes sense. Dasein definitely sounds badass. I would use that as a book character's name.I could probably use Sirius more easily than I could Adonis. I haven't read that book in 3 years, yet I can still see that kitten's face in my head clear as day. I will never hear Adonis without seeing that image, haha. I wonder, when the Harry Potter generation is grown up, if they will name their kids things like Sirius. When I was in my Harry Potter phase (or obsession, I am still in the "phase", haha), I wanted to name my kids Bellatrix Luna and Nymphadora Hermione. I wonder if there will ever be people who DO name their kids Bellatrix.
