Luke and Noelani recently married in a small ceremony in Luke's hometown of Portland, Oregon after a slow four-year relationship. They're not your average couple by any means. Luke grew up in Foster care after being abandoned as a young child and didn't find his forever home until his early teens. He has been supported by his loving family ever since and he loves them to death. However, he has always wanted really wanted to start a family of his own. When he met Noelani he was well past 30 and getting anxious to find the One. Noelani, on the other hand, wasn't looking for love. She had recently graduated law school and gotten a job as a finance lawyer. In her free time she surfed with her Hawaiian friends and family and, in her mind, they were enough. The couple ad a rocky beginning dealing with these problems, but they have finally sorted them out and plan to get a start on their family together.
Year 1: Luke 36, Noelani 29
Luke found a mouse in their kitchen and decided to start feeding it and playing with it. Noelani wasn't a fan at first, but she came around.
Year 2: Luke 37, Noelani 30
Noelani and Luke created their first family reunion, celebrating their anniversary with as many members of both of their families as they could get.
Year 3: Luke 38, Noelani 31, Fred, Mars, Nell, and Alex 0
Luke and Noelani wanted kids, but this wasn't what they bargained for! Noelani gave birth to quadruplets this year, two identical boys and two identical girls. They enlisted the help of family and friends for the first couple months and are now functioning pretty well on heir own, although they're more busy than they thought imaginable. For their names, the intended on using Hawaiian middles but couldn't agree on any so they honored people in Luke's family instead.

Luke and Noelani thought they were done on the children from for a while at least, but they found themselves with child this year anyway. Cat mostly just annoys her siblings so far, but Luke and Noelani are sure a bond will develop.

Noelani is too fertile for her own good! The family welcomed child number six this year and Zola is fairing well so far.

Luke completed a book about being a father to quads and other young children. It was mildly successful and he has gotten a lot of fans who send clothes for the little ones. The quads have all started to develop quite the personalities! Fred and Mars both excel at learning English and Hawaiian, Nell loves animals and being outside, and Alex is an avid fan of cartoons.
Year 7: Luke 42, Noelani 35, Fred, Mars, Nell, and Alex 4, Cat 3, Zola 2, Daisy 0
After a brief respite from the births, Noelani gave birth to Daisy, baby number seven. The kids are pretty much resigned to the chaos by now. Cat has demonstrated an interest in sports and even did some toddler surfing!

Luke's brother Victor married this year and the whole family packed up and visited Portland for the wedding. Zola demonstrated great interest in the ceremony and kept asking about the history of such "events".

The quads insisted on getting a dog and finally their parents relented and got a beagle named Quick.

What a surprise! Noelani got pregnant and gave birth to twins, a boy and a girl named Chaz and Mina. Meanwhile, Daisy has joined Alex in her avid watching of the television.

Noelani is working longer at work to better support her family of eleven.

It's a boy! The family welcomed Mo early this year, much to the frustration of the older kids, who are tired of the new babies.

The whole family moved to Spain for Noelani's job. Fred and Mars are picking up the language well in the public schools there, but Luke and Noelani have decided to send the others to an international school nearby. Mina has already started to read while Chaz is starting to understand basic algebra.

Luke took a pay cut because he spends too much time off for his family.

Luke and Noelani hosted a hectic family reunion, where Mo showed off his acting skills.

Noelani's coworker got a promotion over her and she gave her boss a talking to. Surprisingly he didn't fire her and instead increased her vacation time and promised her the next available promotion.

Luke adopted a rat he found on the street.

Mars is a dad. After a pregnancy full of emotional turmoil, he and his girlfriend decided to give the child up for an open adoption. The adoptive parents have been very supportive and allow him to visit often. They also let him choose the middle name, Victor, after his twin brother.
