Hi :)
Jean-Baptiste 5/10 - a very classic combo in France but it now seems a bit dated. Combo names aren't as common anymore as they used to be and if they are used now it's usually not such a classic combo. A couple of decades ago combo names were very popular especially with classic Jean and Marie. So in the top 100 you would not just find Marie but also Marie-France, Anne-Marie, Marie-Claude etc. Now these names are not so common anymore. Jean-Baptiste is quite religious sounding too.
Mathilde 9/10 - this was extremely popular until recently and is now losing popularity. I like it a lot but it doesn't seem fresh anymore.
Adrien 5/10 - I was never a fan of Adrian or Adrien. They are not bad but I don't really care for them. I do kind of like Adrienne for a girl. Not such a big fan of Adriana, it is fine but I much prefer Arianna.
Louis 6/10 - this used to be a favorite of mine, it is very classic, but I just don't care for it anymore.
Charles 5/10 - I always think of Charles of England.
Camille 8/10 - apart from the fact that it is way too common in France I really like it. It's so pure and clean, I can't really describe it but it makes me think of white flowers, white towels, white linen sheets, the smell of soap.
Violette - 5/10 to be honest I much prefer the English Violet. I also prefer Viola with the English pronunciation.
Joseph 5/10 - nothing wrong with it but not very exciting either.
Jean-Hugues 2/10 - I never saw this combo used, it seems a bit weird to me.

Hi Perrine !!
Thank you verh much.
Your opinion is important for me.
Jean-Baptiste: I know it is religious but has a nice sound! Giambattista is horrible here. Jean-Baptiste is more elegant. I quite like also Baptiste alone.
Louis it is still among my favourites. Luigi has an harsh sound to me. I much prefer Ludovico (from Ludwig) as Italian form.
Camille: nearly same opinion of you. Pure and charming. Very feminine. I like it very much.
Violette: at the opposite of you I hate Violet and Viola (every pronounciation). I much prefer Violette and Violetta (Italian form). I really like Violetta but this increased in popularity right now because of an Argentinian soap opera. It became cheesy and it is a pity.
Charlotte; I've loved this sound since I was a child but you already know my passion for -tte names XD
Jacques I like it very much for its sound. Well..I prefer Jack but Jacques is lovely as well.
Didier: I really like this particular French name. It is fascinating. Is it so popular? I dislike NNs like you.

Was the film any good? I LOVE her books!!
Hi Tisiphone !!
?'ve never read the book but my mother did and she saw the film with me. She said that this film was very close to the book especially for the characters (their features and personalities as well). So I recommend it to you!
