[Opinions] Zachary
What do you think about the name, 'Zachary?' Do you prefer it to Zachariah or no?
Between the two spellings listed within the charts, which one do you like better? Zachary or Zackary?
Lastly, favorite diminutive\nickname spelling? Zac, Zak, Zack or Zach?Just curious (:

I love Zachary and Zachariah is nice too but I'm more likely to use Zachary (which also answers your second question). I like Zack.

I definitely do not Zachariah, too biblical. The name Zachary itself isn't too bad. It's a cool name. I like the nickname Zack. Zach seems unfinished. ------Audrey, Martha, Bianca, Phoebe, Natalia, Jacqueline, Lorraine, Dahlia, Apolonia, Cecilia, Nancy, Olimpia, ElyseAnthony, Sergio, Dominic, Vincent, Matthew, Christopher, Russell, Randall, Nicholas, Bogdan, Israel, Linus----------------Rate my PNL: http://www.behindthename.com/pnl/166097/112886

I like both Zachary and Zachariah, but of the two I'd pick Zachary. Zachary has all the charm of Zachariah but removes some of the fuss.Oddly, perhaps, I don't feel the same about Jeremy / Jeremiah. I love Jeremiah but hate Jeremy. Jeremy sounds bratty and whiney.Edited because I'd typed Zachariah when I meant Zachary.

Its kind of forgettable, which shouldn't be the case since its a Z name. It also inevitably gets shortened to Zack, Zach, or Zac. Zachariah is more notable but has the same nickname issue. I would prefer Zacchaeus, but of course it has the same issue. I don't like Zak because its like Gak. I don't like Zach because his peers will pronounce every letter (like zatch), Zac looks incomplete, so I guess the remainder is Zack.

I love Zachary. I like Zack as a nn, but the spelling Zackary looks like an error, and I'm not a fan. Zachariah is attractive, but Zachary is slightly more usable, in my view, and I prefer it - but you could use Zack, either way.

I definitely agree with you on the spelling of Zackary. It looks like a typo and appears tacky. Autocorrect doesn't even like it. As I'm writing this, the spelling of 'Zackary' has that squiggly read line underneath it. *laughs*

It appeals to me much more than Zachariah, but still not enough to use.I prefer Zachary to Zackary, and Zac as a nn.
