Love Gioia! (As you can see in my sig, we used it!)This is a first name AND surname in Italy, though the surname is usually more popular as DiGioia. Gioia also used to be a brand of pasta and sauces in the US, with the "o" in the shape of a heart on the box. (sigh, nostalgia). Pronunciation is JOY-ah for most people, though technically more like Joe-yah said fast. This is an honoring name in my family. Giada is quite pretty. I considered using it. It's becoming more famous because of the TV chef Giada (Food Network) in the US. Plus, people tend to recognize it... so I think it works better as a name for English-speakers.______________________________________________
