Only a year after Rose, a baby boy has been welcomed into the Smith family. His first name is Jack, which is Henry's Dad's name, and his middle name is Oliver, Alice's friend's middle name. Life is very tiresome, but the couple are coping. Lily is becoming a very arty girl, while Rose has developed an interest in sports, especially swimming with Lily and Alice. Each day is similar, Henry goes to work, Lily goes to school, Rose goes to nursery. They have lots of friends!
