One day, Jim and Margot decides to visit the local pet shelter and adopted a year old Maine Coon. Margot names her Madge because the cat somehow reminds her a headstrong, independent woman in the 1940's. Initially, Jim was worried that Madge wouldn't warm up to Chad but the two became fast friends! After having Chad, Jim and Margot didn't expect their lives to change to drastically. The couple now rely on each other more than ever, in order to properly bring up their son.
