Megan and Morgan would be pretty bad for girls.*Jessica*

Mackenzie and Madison are the best two, but I abhor the rest of them.

Since you've now admitted to making these up -- maybe your own board name should be Mythos instead of Mithos? :)

I once taught a pair of twins in the same class named Marlene and Murlene, which I thought was unfortunate, at least for Murlene. :)

I knew these twin girls in high school named Demetria and Demetreis (sp ? on the 2nd one. prn. de-mee-tree-iss). Isn't that a horrible set? And worse, they were identical so you could never get the names right for either girl. Why do people do this to their children!?~Arie~

I'd like to see verification...I know parents can be astonishingly stupid these days regarding names, but I'd still like to see verification for these kinds of things.Individually, I like:
Mackenzie - For a boy, and especially if he's an actual son of a Kenneth
Madison - For a boy, and especially if he's an actual son of a Maud or Matilda
Forest

Actually, I made these up. And I agree with your name tastes. :-)

You should've said so from the get-go thenYou said absolutely nothing about these names being made-up in your original post. But I guess there's no real harm done, so everybody carry on!

Uhm.... wow.

Where did you find these? It's hard for me to believe that Nacho and Chip really exist (at least as official birth certificate names). Actually I'd much prefer Leaf and Forest to Leif and Forest because the latter pair seems more like a joke than a serious devotion to nature on the parents' part.

about Chip...I have a great-uncle named Chip - and that IS the name on his birth certificate. Also, I have met guys named Nacho and it wasn't short for anything so I assume that's the name on their birth certificates. They may be odd names but ::shrugs:: people are odd.Thought you'd find that interesting :)

I met a barman in Spain called Nacho**miss_smiley**

It wouldn't have surprised me to see Chip on a birth certificate itself, and I certainly knew that Nacho was a pet form of names like Ignacio and Anastasio in Spanish. But to see them as twins is a bit hard for me to believe without further evidence. :)

Ah, yes. I thought you meant in general and I was like... "well if people name their kids things like Log, I think Chip is believable..." but, yes, a twins it would be cruel.

My 6th grade Spanish teacher told us that Nacho is sometimes a nickname for Ignacio. One kid even picked it for his name when we had to pick Spanish names.----------------------------------------------------------------
Time to unload the gigantic lists of names running rampant in my head...

Yah, that happened in my 8th grade Spanish class... and 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th! All the boys just love the name Nacho... every year there were at least 10 guys wanting it and so various methods were used to see who got it lol It was always quite funny. Also popular, for some reason, amongst the white kids learning Spanish was the name Guillermo - I can only imagine it's because it's fun to say! But who knows what teenage boys think when it comes to these sorts of things :-) lol

Are these real? I won't even begin to rant about the self-fulfilling prophesy that could occur by setting up the dichotomy of Jesus and Satan as twins. It's bad enough that the twins are thematically named; the fact that one is named Satan is just downright unconscionable. ----Betsy-----

Heck, those are horrid!Nacho and Chip? HOLY CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (no, those PP are not being neglected, I feed and care for them all quite well)
Jesus and Satan? For one thing, why would you name your kid Satan? (I am Christian too. Poor kid!)
Leif and Forest. My friend thinks it's funny but I don't! At least they didn't put Leaf or something, right?Free Image Hosting
