[Opinions] Danaë
What do you think of Danae? Does it seem to made up?
It has a long history and background in mythology. But the two people I know with this name just have it as their middle name, spelled Danae, and pronounced dah-NAY. I am pretty sure the name Danae is supposed to be pronounced with three syllables because of the trema. So I am wondering whether their parents knew about the background or whether they thought it was a nice filler along the lines of Janae or something.
Opinions on Danae?
P.S. I tried to spell it correctly with the trema but everytime I did this after I sent the message it just showed up as Dana and deleted the rest of the sentence...

I know a young woman named Danae, pronounced with the three syllables, as you say. I don't know how she spells it, though.
A good name. I probably wouldn't use it, as I have an unusual last name(unusual for my area)so my kids all have pretty common names.

Hi !!
Danae (with that two dots) is lovely.
It is elegant and limpid
I like Mythological names very much.
