[Opinions] Petra
I am starting to like this. It feels pretty and strong at the same time. Opinions on Petra?

I agree with your assessment of Petra being pretty and strong. It isn't over used and is easy to spell and pronounce.
It's lovely. Makes me think of an artistic woman. A nice alternative to Penelope.
I remember as a kid thinking how cool this name sounded! I don't mind it, though I wouldn't use it.
Love Petra.
Peter is, has been and (as far as I can tell) will always be my favorite name for a boy. So Petra starts with a huge leg up. Petra is one of those under-the-radar kind of classics. It's elegant but has the potential (and unexpected) nn Rocky.
Petra Vivien is my stock combo for it. :0) I keep wanting to use a middle name starts with an L, Petra Linden, Petra Lilith. But "petrol" results. :0/

I really like Petra!
I don't think I'd use it myself just because it doesn't totally feel like my 'style' but I love seeing it.

I was just talking to a friend the other day who said Petra was one of her favorite female names. She had an amazing experience visiting Petra, Jordan, plus she said she liked the sound and the meaning.
I like the meaning and the fact that it's short and easy to spell/pronounce. TR isn't my favorite sound, though.
The one girl I know named Petra goes by "Pet" with her family. I actually really like the nickname in a GP kind of way.
