[Opinions] Gilbert
A man I knew named this recently passed away not too long ago (a day or two ago) Naturally, the name has been on my mind lately. I understand why many don't care for it. I guiltily and surprisingly enjoy the diminutive of "Gil" good enough though, which is what the guy mainly went by. Thoughts on the name? Edward may have been his middle but I'm not certain.
His grown children (My cousins from an aunt. She had 5 kids but only 2 of them were his)Andrea (an-DRAY-ə)
Gilbert (Jr)

I love Gilbert because of Anne of Green Gables and it has a cute old man vibe which would be adorable on a baby, especially one with the look of an old soul. I also like the nickname Gil which would be a cute and subtle honorary nickname for someone who liked to fish. I think Gilbert Edward is handsome.
