I recently read a book where the main character's name is Marya, and I really like it. What are your thoughts? How would you pronounce it?

Without checking pronunciation, I'd probably pronounce it MAR-ya. Seeing now that it's Russian, that's probably the correct way to say it.

I think it's pretty. It's a fresh change from Aria and a unique take on Maria.
