Jim gets a pay raise from his job. Good timing too, so now he and his lovely wife can finally remodel their kitchen.

Ros earns a award from her alma mater, Columbia University, for her outstanding contributions in pediatrics.

Random Event: Unexpected pregnancy
The couple find themselves expecting their first child. Although very nervous about raising children, the two can't wait to officially start a family. To their surprise, the two finds out they're actually having triplets.

Career Event: Jim loses his job.
After a conflict involving one of his clients, Jim's boss decides to let him go. While despondent losing his job, Jim tries to keep his head up as he searches for new employment. At least he gets to take care the girls more, with the help of their trusted nanny, Elisa.
Year 6
Random Event: Adopt a pet
The Edwardson clan decided to adopt an unconventional pet, a cornsnake named Echo. Echo is a very friendly pet and is super safe around the girls. Too bad the nanny, Elisa, still has to time to get used to her.
Year 7
Family Event: Twins?!
With already raising rambunctious triplet girls, Jim and Ros were not planning to have any more children. However, life has other plans for the couple as Ros finds out she's pregnant with twin boys.

A future musician, Annie wins a piano competition and earned $1,000. Jim and Ros gives her a chance to use half to buy anything she want while putting the rest for her college fund. Annie chooses to spend her money on a guitar and donates the rest to charity.

Child Event: New baby
Jim and Ros are expecting another child, a baby girl!

Random Event: New Job, New House
Jim finds new employment as a certified public accountant. However, the family has to make the move from Rhode Island to Beverly Hills, California. The moves into a mansion in the wealthy suburb.
