I've only ever heard ROZalind, and yes, the D is sounded. I think of it as Horse + Snake, which makes a short O necessary - if it was Pretty Rose it'd be a long O.

For Rosalyn, I'd expect ROSEalyn, I'd assume it was Rosa + Lyn, and I don't like it. Rosalind is fine and has got an excellent Shakespearean connection: I used to avoid it for personal reasons, but that's faded.
