I don't like it on a boy, on a girl it's fine. I don't particularly like it but it's not horrible or anything either. It's very 1990s dated.
Have you considered Cassandra? Cassia? (the meaning of Cassia is awful but the sound is nice). Even Cassiopeia is kind of nice.
Out of these choices I would pick Willow (followed by Elise and Chloe) and Orion. Chloe is also already super dated to me but I like the sound. May I suggest Cleo? I think Cleo Cassiopeia would be pretty cool.

I do like Cassandra too and the Sandra part would honour my late mother, in fact my sister just had a baby and her middle name us Alessandra (the sandra part honouring)
