With the children out of the house, Tony and Eve enjoy the peacefulness of their daily routine. They don't see their kids very often anymore, except on holidays and weekends, when Henry comes back to work. Eve secretly cannot wait for the kids to take over the vet clinic so she and Tony can travel, but he doesn't quite share that same desire.

Amelia graduated valedictorian and president of her class and was accepted into the school of her dreams. She was finally pursuing her dreams of being a leader in the world. Right before Amelia started to apply to law school, she met Madeline. The two fell in love almost at first site. The were married as soon as Amelia graduated from college and started talking about having a family of their own. This was all scary and odd for Amelia. She thought she had her life completely planned out. Even though it wasn't going her way, she was happy. So, she put off law school and ran forth with the idea of a baby. Amelia and Madeline adopted Leo, a two year old ball of energy. He was the best thing to ever happen to either of them. They currently live in a city, not too terribly far from Amelia's home town.

Gabriel's life took a bit of a different turn than his sister's, but they ended up with the same result: two year olds. After graduating high school, Gabriel took a year off to figure out what he really wanted in life. That year turned into four years. Gabriel got a job working at a local coffee shop and was able to make his way up to a managerial position. It would work for now, he always told himself. It wasn't long before he met Sarah McNeil. The two of them dated for a few months before breaking it off. It was clear they weren't meant for each other and they were both okay with that. Gabriel didn't hear from Sarah until two years later when she told him that he had a son. Gabriel met Wesley for the first time on his second birthday. He was granted joint custody and since then has been planning out his life to revolve around Wesley and only Wesley. They currently live in a rented apartment in the town where Gabriel grew up.

Abigail was ready to leave the moment she graduated. She decided on a college out of state where should would major in business. Her plan was to help her parents take over and reinvent the vet clinic. Her sophomore year, she met Nolan Maxwell, who was studying to be a veterinarian. It was fate in her eyes and they two dated for the rest of their time in college. They were married right before Nolan started vet school, they were married. They currently live in an apartment near Nolan's college. Abigail works with her mother over Skype and other online sources.

Henry spent two years in the house with his parents all by himself. During those two years, he spent nearly every moment preparing to get into veterinary school. His father let him help with some simple procedures and he watched all of the times that he wasn't allowed to help. He studied harder than he ever had in his life. By the time he graduated, he was accepted into the state university where he currently studies.
