Josiah died 3 years ago. At his funeral were his 5 children, 19 grandchildren (now 21), 7 step-grandchildren (including Orlando as Echo and Brady were still together) and his one step-great-grandchild, Serendipity, Seth's daughter. Silvia had no intention to remarry but after repeatedly being asked by her friendly neighbour, Ulysses, who had been a bachelor for 68 years, she agreed they could keep each other company in their older years. They were married last spring in a simple ceremony.
Gwen is still a mother figure to Zio and Lydia who adore her as does Cyrus.
Urban and Xanthe, now that they are married, have FINALLY settled down and had a family. They welcomed “4 under 4”- all daughters.
Atticus and Millie had always been a stable couple with a stable family but with 3 toddlers in the house and plenty of teenage issues, including Seth's girlfriend getting pregnant, Atticus snapped and was, for the first time, unfaithful to Millie. He begged Millie to take him back but it just didn't work, tensions were too high. They are now divorced and both dating. Zac chose to live with Atticus but the girls and triplets live with Millie. Jonah is engaged, Indy dating and Seth is now married to that girlfriend with two children.
But that's nothing compared to Echo's family. Poor Echo has been nothing but a baby machine and a punching bag to two husbands. Now, finally rid of the second, she still hasn't given herself time but is already engaged again. She still has 5 children at home and is introducing yet another man into their lives. Her oldest daughter, Aria has unfortunately followed her mother. By trying to get away from her home life, she has married a man with 3 boys who doesn't treat her as he should. Teo has married his fourth wife, Jade, despite her family being against the union. They have already had 4 children together, meaning that Teo has 11 children of his own. His oldest 3 children have been going through a rough time themselves. Miles' first marriage only lasted a year before his wife found out he had fathered a child to another woman ('just like his father' you say?). Miles has, at least, married this woman, who has an older son that isn't his and they have since welcomed another son together. The age gap between Cora and Roano become more noticeable as their wedding came closer and they discussed children. They have since broken off the engagement and Cora is engaged again. Hugo is the only one with a stable relationship in the whole family, cudos Hugo! Even Teo's ex-wife, Chiara who is the mother of Tierney and Rory has split with her second husband. As for Echo's second ex, Brady, he is dating the woman he left Echo for. His son, Orlando has married an older woman with 3 children. (So, if we take Aria, she has one full sister, Ivy, 4 half-siblings by her mother, 9 half-siblings by her father from 3 different women the oldest being 30 and the youngest being a baby, one sibling who isn't a real sibling but the half-sibling of her half-siblings and whom she grew up with, 3 step-children of her own, 4 step-nephews, a half-nephew and a half-neice. She has had two step-mothers and is about to have her second step-father. Can you blame her for marrying young to get away?)
As for Navy and Romy, they welcomed their fifth and final son, a surprise, Arlo. August is also enagaed to his girlfriend of the past two years, Xanthe.
