Thalia: I don't see
Talia as similar to
Thalia. Very different feel (no risk of princessiness with
Thalia, for example), and also I say
Thalia with a "th", not a "t". I looked up the pronunciation on this site and from what I can tell, it should be "th" (
http://www.behindthename.com/support/transcribe.php?type=GR&target=T%5Ealeia). I also checked Wikipedia and in modern Greek, theta is the same sound as 'th' in 'thing', but it was closer to 't' in ancient Greek.
