Yeah, I find that nobody seems to ever want to say my whole name anyway, lol. In the two places I've worked, I needed a name-tag both times and I had my full name on there but everybody called me Tabby or Tab or, more commonly, Tabs (I'm unaware of when I became a plural...). I think it's supposed to be like Babs or something. Anyhoo, even teachers have rarely ever called me Tabitha. It's a strange phenomenon, though I hate it when strangers do it (which is more common down here in Miami than it was in Chicago).

But I must add - I can't stand any other spelling of Tabitha! Especially Tabytha (I've actually met a few of those - all under the age of 10 of course...). It's just... grrr... but, yeah, anyhoo, moving on, people are surprisingly stupid a lot of the time. I don't understand it but I seriously hope that my experiences have been the result of brain farts on the others' sides.
