[Facts] Wubete?
Wubete is an Ethiopian feminine name. Possibly Amharic? I believe it's pronounced "woo-BET-ay" or "voo-BET-ay" (if that helps). Does anyone have an idea what the meaning might be? Thanks! :)

The body, which gives you during life a form,
Is but your vase: be not deceived, my soul!
Cheap is the bowl for storing honey in,
But precious for the contents of the bowl.

Hello,
Just ran into this. It means "my beauty". It is a possessive form of the word "Wubet" which means "Beauty". I hope you are still able to see the answer.

I found the name as an Amharic name meaning "beauty" in this PDF:

And I could confirm that "ውበት", transliterated in English usually as "wubet" as far as I could see, does mean "beauty", with the help of this online dictionary:

Thank you! I had seen on a different website that it meant "beauty" but was doubtful of the accuracy. Thanks for clearing that up for me! :)
