I'm on the fence. It's a family name, it's interesting and it's unusual, and it's got a great meaning - and all those things are good, but it does sound like a sneeze. My sister considered it briefly for one of her daughters and my mother was horrified, heh. The only Letitia I know is called Tish - even more sneezy! I'd have chosen Letty.
Laetitia is lovely though, & yup, very popular in France in the 80s.
