Matt and Violet celebrated their fifth anniversary two weeks ago. They spent the evening with their three boys at a local park, watching the ducks, before going to get ice cream together.
Matt, 32, is a computer guy who works for the IT department of a large university. Other than playing with his boys, his hobbies are building/refurbishing computers and swimming.
Violet, 31, is a stay-at-home mom, though she previously worked as an ICU nurse for a local hospital. She spends most of her time making sure the house runs smoothly and that her three little boys are productively occupied.
Josh, 4, is a rambunctious, curious little boy. He loves being outside and is especially excited that his daddy is teaching him how to swim. He also goes to gymnastic classes once a week, and is participating in his first year of preschool this year (three mornings a week).
Levi, 3, is much quieter than his brother, but almost more mischievous. He is a thinker and will spend time looking at or observing an object--before proceeding to try taking it apart or commandeering it for his own purposes. He also likes to be outside and is not far from Josh's side (except when Josh goes to preschool). Levi goes to gymnastic classes with Josh once a week.
Isaiah, 1, is the baby of the family, but babbles and coos like he understands his older brothers. He is an easygoing child and is content whether he is being held or playing on the floor. He doesn't like to be by himself. Isaiah's favorite activity is singing songs at the library's toddler time each week.
