Not IRLI used to LOVE Anastasia! And then I met a couple real-life Anastasias and realized that, while I liked the name on fictional characters (or historical figures), it wasn't one I cared so much for IRL. It just seemed so... much, you know? Too much.Unfortunately, I had the same reaction to Sabrina...

It's totally usable. I like both the sound and the meaning (resurrection). My favorite combos are Anastasia Lily and Anastasia Rosemary (too long ?)

It's definitely usable. I loved the Anastasia Krupnik books (by Lois Lowry) as a child and even wrote my own books about a Swedish Anastasia.
I think I stopped loving the name when someone said it sounded like "metastasis" and since then I can't think of Anastasia without thinking "metastasis"...
I think it's one of the "romantic" names a lot of people tend to like, a bit like Charlotte, Scarlett, Rhiannon...

I wanted to like it as a kid, but then as I got older the only Anastasias I met were very...downgrade. Sorry, I don't have another word for it.

I like it, especially with the nn Annie. I definitely think it's usable, can't see why not. As for mns, I'd suggest something shorter and more simple.

I saw the animated film by the same name with my older children while pregnant with my youngest. Needless to say, I briefly considered it. What put me off was the different pronunciations. I prefer ahn-ah-STAH-see-ah and I knew I'd have an uphill battle with that one! Unfortunately, the most common pronunciation where I live reminds me of anesthesia. :-(Having said that, Anastasia is lovely. It's absolutely usable.Combos:Anastasia Caroline
Anastasia Laurel

It's usable. It was kind of popular where I grew up (including variations, like Anastacia "Stacia" pronounced stay-sha, etc.) I like Ana, Ani, Stasia, etc but not Stacy. I'll come back later and add some middle name ideas if I remember to.

I love it. It's definitely usable. I'm so-so on Stacy and not fond of Ana, so it's not likely I'd use it, but it's usable.

It's usable, I guess, but I wouldn't. I used to like it, back when I was a kid and loved the Anastasia Krupnik books by Lois Lowry, but I got over it. The name is just so bloated and puffed up, and it has a cold feel to it also. Also sounds a bit too much like anesthesia.
