Elliot and Laure have been a couple only for the past four months having met on a vacation in Ibiza. Elliot is an American author and although he's still very young he already has two bestsellers added to his name. Laure a young Belgian comes from an old noble family, but already made a career of her own as she is a popular TV host in Belgian TV. Although they're together only for a few months, they already live together in a wing of Laure's family castle about half an hour outside of Brussels.

Elliot and Laure were not really planning on a family so soon, but when the test came back positive it was not a tragedy either. Alexandre Elliot Turner de Vere, who goes by Sasha exclusively, entered the world on 5th May of the year and changed everything. With his mommy's red hair, parents grey eyes and toothless smile he has his whole family wrapped around his pinky. Although his is now barely seven months old, he already shows interest in music and loves to listen to Beethoven and Bach.

Shortly after Sasha's first birthday, Elliot brought home a male Siberian husky puppy whom they named Truman. Sasha and Truman are already best buddies and the little boy loves to chase him around.

Elliot and Laure thought a lot about the perfect 2nd birthday present for they boy and decided to adopt another puppy. In the end they brought home another male Siberian husky puppy, whom they named Hayden. There were a few blows between Truman and Hayden initially, but now they enjoy each other presence and their little boy is over the moon with two dogs to chase after and play with.

After much consideration Elliot and Laure decided to add to their family. They always knew Sasha should not be an only child, but needed time to be ready to add another baby into their crazy lives. Aliénor Madeleine Turner de Vere entered the world after a quick home birth in the early morning hours of 10th March just two days before her father's fifth book made it to the bestseller list. Unlike her brother she has a bunch of blond almost white hair and grey eyes. Now at nearly nine months she loves everything related to technology, regularly grabs her parents cell phones or tablets to chew on them.

It was quite a year for the young family. It all started so well, Elliot's sixth book made it to the bestseller list, Laure's dream came true and she landed the tenth series of Dancing with the stars in Belgium which was breaking the viewers records, Sasha started his piano lessons at the age of four and surprised everyone with how quickly he progressed. Everything came to halt for the family when the littlest member Leni was seriously injured in a car crash. Her grandparents were taking her to the town with them one afternoon, when a driver of another car run the red lights and crashed directly to the side where Leni was seated in her car seat. While the grandparents came out unharmed the baby was airlifted to the hospital in Brussels with numerous internal injuries and both of her legs broken. During the first long gloomy days and nights that she spent in ICU, the doctors were rather pessimistic with their prognoses, but the little girl surprised them with her fighting spirit and over the months made it to full recovery.

Elliot got a promotion! Well not really, but he sign a deal with a world wide publishing house and his books are set to be translated into additional thirty-two languages.

The new deal turned to be a blessing as Elliot received a huge check after the release of his books in thirty-two more countries. He and Laure are strongly considering a purchase and renovation of an old mansion that they always loved. With her brother inheriting the family castle one day and between his and theirs growing family, it's probably the right time to do so.

After eight years together and two children, Elliot and Laure finally got married. It was a grand event celebrated in the garden's of Laure's family castle. Sasha was a ring bearer, while Leni was a flower girl. The garden's were full with over 300 invited guests that celebrated and partied until the early morning hours and then also the following day. After the wedding Elliot, Laure, their two kids and two dogs moved into the new mansion that they bought a year ago and renovated over the past year.

After almost ten years on screen Laure has decided to take a break from TV and concentrate more on her family. She has no new TV shows piled up and instead spends time, driving Sasha to his piano and violin lessons and helping Leni with her "scientific" researches. She and Elliot are also talking about adding to their family soon.

It turned out that Laure took her break from TV just in time. Their second daughter, Annemarie Charlotte Turner de Vere was born at home on 31st January. She had a head full of red hair and big grey eyes. From day one she was a very active baby, started walking at eight months and is unstoppable ever since then.

Baby Ani was joined by twin brothers only fourteen months later. Aymeric Graham & Augustin Cassian Turner de Vere were born on 1st April six weeks early weighting in a little bit over 5 lbs each, but with two sets of very healthy lungs. After a week long hospital stay Laure, Merry and Gus arrived back home at the family mansion. While the boys look totally alike with their blond hair and grey eyes, their personalities couldn't be more different. Merry who is a very content baby is the family's little explorer, he loves to crawl around and take everything into his little hands observing it. Gus is the short tempered one, he is also very active and always on the move and unhappy if he is unable to reach his goal.

Elliot and Laure always talked about a big Euro trip, but with Laure's demanding job that tied her down to one place they were never able to make it. This year over the summer holidays they packed their mini van, took their five children and two dogs and traveled all over the Europe for two glorious months. Now full of memories they returned back to reality of chasing after three toddlers, driving Sasha to and from his piano, violin and newly also cello lessons and "suffering" through Leni's scientific researches. Life's good.

A few months before Merry and Gus turned two, Elliot and Laure started talking about another baby that would complete their family. As neither of them was getting any younger, they started trying a few months later and were overjoyed when they conceived already after the first month they tried. Just weeks later they found out, there was another set of twins on the way, this time fraternal. The idea of seven children was enough for Laure to propose the big V to Elliot and surprisingly he had no objections. Their last two children, Adrien Lancelote & Antoinette Florence Turner de Vere arrived on 23rd December just in time to be the best Christmas present the family ever received. Adrien with his red hair and grey eyes was a bit smaller than his twin sister who is lovingly called Netty and has a head full of blondish curls and grey eyes. Their personalities are yet to be determined as for now all they need is their mommy, lots of cuddles and a clean diaper.

Time flies and Elliot and Laure have officially a teenager in the house, scary in theory. So far Sasha is making it very easy on them as he is mostly submerged in his world of music and compositions. Leni has just started fifth grade and not surprisingly math, biology and chemistry are her favorite subjects by far. Recently they've also signed Ani into gymnastics in a hope that she'll burn some of the excesive energy she has in there. She and also Merry and Gus are attending pre-school two times a week and enjoy time with their new found friends. Adrien and Netty are already a year old and they are both very active babies. Laure is rather sure that in addition to Ani and Gus they have another set of future athletes on their hands. Not everything was good this year thought as the family two dogs passed away in a span of a week of old age. The kids took it very hard and begged the parents for a new dog. The family visited a local animal shelter and agreed on a one year old golden retriever which they named Jazz, a name chosen by Sasha.

With so many active kids in the house it was only a matter of time until someone will get injured. In the end Gus was the unlucky one after he broke his arm when he fell unlucky while jumping from the table to his bed. After a month in gypsum and a few weeks of rehabilitation his arms is as new.

After years off the screen Laure got an offer that she just couldn't resist. With the older three kids in school, the older twins in kindergarten full time and the younger twins in pre-school three days a week, she felt her family could handle her going back to work. While Elliot works from home and is not tied up to any working hours, he still needs some helping hand with the kids, that's why the couple agreed to hire an au-pair. They finally chose Lindsey Collins a nineteen year old American who moved in with them for six months. The kids love her and Laure leaves the house content every time she has to, knowing they are in good hands.

Another two of Elliot's books made it to the bestseller list, now translated into over sixty languages they bring him a good chunk of additional money every month so the family has nothing to worry about money wise. The kids are growing up, Sasha is still taking his piano lessons, he decided to drop the violin and cello, which paid off as he placed 2nd in the Queen Elisabeth International Competition with his piano composition. The youngest ever to place on the podium, he already has his heart set on winning the competition next year. Leni is only thirteen, but already started high school. She was academically advanced and the teachers let her skip a year. She is a frequent competitor in chemistry and biology competitions and has some nice placements to her name. Ani still continues with her gymnastics lessons and loves it. Her trainer says she's the most talented kid he had ever worked with. Merry is Leni's shadow and shows great interest in biology and chemistry as well. There could be another little scientist in the family. Gus is taking gymnastics lessons as well to burn out his never ending energy, he has however his heart set on becoming a football player one day and begs his parents to switch the sport. Adrien & Netty have started with gymnastics as well and are enjoying it so far.

When Elliot and Laure bought and renovated their mansion they never imagined they'd have to leave it, but after a huge water leakage was found underneath the building they had to move out in order to get it fixed. Renting a five bedrooms apartment in Ixelles, the family moved closer to the city, they expect to stay at least six months until the leakage will be repaired. They already can't wait to return back to the country.

Never in their wildest dreams did Elliot and Laure expect to be grandparents in their early forties. They also had no idea that their shy, introverted son that lives in the world of music had a girlfriend. It took them a few days to come to the terms with the pregnancy, but they have been supportive ever since. Stéphanie, Sasha's girlfriend, moved in with them as her parents were less then supportive and gave birth to their first grandson and Sasha's first son on 23rd August, Emmanuel Alexandre Turner de Vere was born with a head full of daddy's red hair and with mommy's big brown eyes. He already shows interest in music as same as his daddy at that age, he loves falling asleep listening to the works of Beethoven and Bach.

A tragedy stroked the de Vere family this year. Laure's older brother Antoine and his wife Florence died in a plane crash, leaving behind their three kids aged 14, 6 & 3. Heart broken Elliot and Laure decided to take in the three kids and raise them as their own. Fourteen years old Guillaume is the eldest and now the heir to the de Vere family castle. With his red hair and blue eyes he is the carbon copy of his father, he also inherited his interest in technology. Elisabeth is six and looks just like her mother with her blond hair and blue eyes, she loves reading and is also very shy. The love for literature allowed her to bond with Elliot rather quickly. Three years old Claudine is the baby of the family, with her red hair and ice blue eyes she is a perfect mix of her late parents, she loves painting and could spend hours over the white sheets of paper.

With ten kids and one grandchild in the house, Laure finally gave up on her TV career and decided to concentrate on her large family. She has currently started a small crocheting Etsy business to keep her occupied when she is not driving the kids to and from their activities, planning family picnics or trips or babysitting her grandson.

When the second grandchild arrived Elliot and Laure were not even surprised. While Sasha and Stéphanie are still in university, they are also great parents to Emmanuel and expressed their wish to expand their family several times. They are in no hurry to marry though and Elliot and Laure only laugh when this topic comes up at family gatherings. Violette Laure-Marie Turner de Vere was born in one of Brussels many hospitals on 29th August with a head full of daddy's red hair and his grey eyes. While the young family was living in an apartment in Brussels before her birth to be close to their school, they have moved back to the family mansion much to Laure's and Elliot's joy.

No one is prone to injuries, not even Ani. Just in her last novice year, she tore her ACL on vault and had to take half of the gymnastics season off. With her positive nature she concentrated on her studies and improved her conditioning in the meantime and hopes to come back strong next year and make it onto the Belgian junior gymnastics team. Knowing their stubborn daughter, Elliot and Laure are rather sure she'll make it.

The grandchildren just keep coming! Laure sighed happily when Sasha called them on early morning of 31st December and announced the birth of his identical twin sons, Matthieu Elliot & Cyprien Amaury Turner de Vere. The whole family traveled to Brussels on the last day of the year to meet the new additions, Matthieu looks just like his momy, while Cyprien is the mix of his parents. It was also the perfect time for Sasha and Stéphanie to announce their engagement, after four children some of the extended family found it rather unnecessary, but the Turner de Vere's were all overjoyed and looking forward to the wedding, which knowing their son and daughter-in-law might take a few years to happen.

With Sasha and Stephanie already living on their own, it was only a matter of time until another birdie will fly out of the nest. After Leni was accepted to the medicine program of Yale University it was clear she will be the next one to leave not only the house, but also the country. She left already in August to get ready for her first semester abroad and Laure still gets sad when she thinks about her baby girl leaving them. Leni on the other hand, while homesick at times, loves her new school and life in the US.

At twenty five Sasha's talent had already crossed the borders of Belgium and he is a well known piano player across the Europe. He had recently landed a deal and will be going on a Europe tour with Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. He is already looking forward to enjoy the new experience.

Unknown to her parents Leni has moved in with her boyfriend of two years, Tim. What started as a summer flirt turned into a serious relationship rather quickly and Leni is already thinking how to tell her parents that she might stay in the US permanently.

After finishing the university studies it was clear that Leni had to confess. She and Tim traveled to Belgium to spend two weeks over the summer with her family and it was then when she sat both her parents down and told them she'll be staying in US. Elliot and Laure were not surprised in the slightest and fully supported their daughters decision. By the end of the two weeks she was not only happy by her parents reaction, but also engaged to her boyfriend and looking forward to a new job, which she landed in one of Boston's major hospital intensive care unit.

The year of weddings and grandchildren, that's what this year can be called according to Elliot and Laure. After six year long engagement and four kids, Sasha and Stéphanie finally got married in June. It was just a family affair at Brussels city hall as Stéphanie was at that time eight months pregnant with their fifth child. Ottilie Charlotte Turner de Vere arrived safe and sound on July 27th with a set of healthy lungs and head full of red hair and daddy's grey eyes. Especially Violette is overjoyed to finally have a sister in the house.
Leni and Tim got married at the family mansion in August with 150 of their friends and family around. Just before they left for Europe, Leni found out that she's been promoted after only one year at her job, apparently she is the record holder. That was one of the reasons why she and Tim decided to wait with kids for a few more years.
The wedding of the year according to the Belgian noble circles was the one between Guillaume de Vere and Victoire du Pouguet in January. As Guillaume is the heir to the de Vere family it came as no surprise that over 600 guests attended the grand occasion at de Vere family castle. After the wedding the newlyweds moved into the family castle together with Guillaume's elderly grandparents and on 11th November Victoire gave birth to their first son and his father's heir there. Antoine Guillaume de Vere was born with head full brown hair and blue eyes and received the names of his late grandfather and his father.
Ani sustained her second ACL tear crushing her Olympic dream just weeks prior to the start of the games. She subsequently decided to end her career as a sportsman and start her coaching career.
When it comes to Merry it looks that he will follow in Leni's footsteps. He is currently studying medicine at University of Leuven, but everything points in the direction that he'll be accepted to Yale next autumn.
Gus made it to the B team of Anderlecht Brussels, but heard already from several sources that the coach of A team has an eye on him. This prompted him to work even harder in a hope of making the main team and maybe one day in a not so far future he might join the Belgian national football team.
Adrien and Netty are in their last year of high-school but both are already fully committed to their sporting careers. Adrien is a long distance swimmer and is preparing currently for the World Junior Championships where he is one of the favorites on the 10 km track. Netty is so far the most successful junior figure skater Belgium ever had. After winning her Junior Grand Prix assignments in Colorado Springs and Ljubljana, she finished second in the final in Barcelona with two falls in long program. Now she has her eyes and heart set on the Junior World Championships where she wants to fight for the gold medal.
Elisabeth still enjoys reading and over the years became Elliot's main critique. She also leads the reading club at local library.
Claudine made it from finger painting three year old to a quite good painter. Her first exhibition is planned for next spring and she couldn't be more happier.

Elliot and Laure have been a couple only for the past four months having met on a vacation in Ibiza. Elliot is an American author and although he's still very young he already has two bestsellers added to his name. Laure a young Belgian comes from an old noble family, but already made a career of her own as she is a popular TV host in Belgian TV. Although they're together only for a few months, they already live together in a wing of Laure's family castle about half an hour outside of Brussels.

Elliot and Laure were not really planning on a family so soon, but when the test came back positive it was not a tragedy either. Alexandre Elliot Turner de Vere, who goes by Sasha exclusively, entered the world on 5th May of the year and changed everything. Although his is now barely seven months old, he already shows interest in music and loves to listen to Beethoven and Bach.

Shortly after Sasha's first birthday, Elliot brought home a male Siberian husky puppy whom they named Truman. Sasha and Truman are already best buddies and the little boy loves to chase him around.

Elliot and Laure thought a lot about the perfect 2nd birthday present for they boy and decided to adopt another puppy. In the end they brought home another male Siberian husky puppy, whom they named Hayden. There were a few blows between Truman and Hayden initially, but now they enjoy each other presence and their little boy is over the moon with two dogs to chase after and play with.

After much consideration Elliot and Laure decided to add to their family. They always knew Sasha should not be an only child, but needed time to be ready to add another baby into their crazy lives. Aliénor Madeleine Turner de Vere entered the world after a quick home birth in the early morning hours of 10th March just two days before her father's fifth book made it to the bestseller list. Unlike her brother she has a bunch of blond almost white hair and grey eyes. Now at nearly nine months she loves everything related to technology, regularly grabs her parents cell phones or tablets to chew on them.

It was quite a year for the young family. It all started so well, Elliot's sixth book made it to the bestseller list, Laure's dream came true and she landed the tenth series of Dancing with the stars in Belgium which was breaking the viewers records, Sasha started his piano lessons at the age of four and surprised everyone with how quickly he progressed. Everything came to halt for the family when the littlest member Leni was seriously injured in a car crash. Her grandparents were taking her to the town with them one afternoon, when a driver of another car run the red lights and crashed directly to the side where Leni was seated in her car seat. While the grandparents came out unharmed the baby was airlifted to the hospital in Brussels with numerous internal injuries and both of her legs broken. During the first long gloomy days and nights that she spent in ICU, the doctors were rather pessimistic with their prognoses, but the little girl surprised them with her fighting spirit and over the months made it to full recovery.

The new deal turned to be a blessing as Elliot received a huge check after the release of his books in thirty-two more countries. He and Laure are strongly considering a purchase and renovation of an old mansion that they always loved. After eight years together and two children, Elliot and Laure finally got married. It was a grand event celebrated in the garden's of Laure's family castle. Sasha was a ring bearer, while Leni was a flower girl. The garden's were full with over 300 invited guests that celebrated and partied until the early morning hours and then also the following day. After the wedding Elliot, Laure, their two kids and two dogs moved into the new mansion that they bought a year ago and renovated over the past year.

After almost ten years on screen Laure has decided to take a break from TV and concentrate more on her family. It turned out that Laure took her break from TV just in time. Their second daughter, Annemarie Charlotte Turner de Vere was born at home on 31st January. She had a head full of red hair and big grey eyes. From day one she was a very active baby, started walking at eight months and is unstoppable ever since then.

Baby Ani was joined by twin brothers only fourteen months later. Aymeric Graham & Augustin Cassian Turner de Vere were born on 1st April six weeks early weighting in a little bit over 5 lbs each, but with two sets of very healthy lungs. After a week long hospital stay Laure, Merry and Gus arrived back home at the family mansion. While the boys look totally alike with their blond hair and grey eyes, their personalities couldn't be more different. Merry who is a very content baby is the family's little explorer, he loves to crawl around and take everything into his little hands observing it. Gus is the short tempered one, he is also very active and always on the move and unhappy if he is unable to reach his goal.

Elliot and Laure always talked about a big Euro trip, but with Laure's demanding job that tied her down to one place they were never able to make it. This year over the summer holidays they packed their mini van, took their five children and two dogs and traveled all over the Europe for two glorious months. Now full of memories they returned back to reality of chasing after three toddlers, driving Sasha to and from his piano, violin and newly also cello lessons and "suffering" through Leni's scientific researches. Life's good.

A few months before Merry and Gus turned two, Elliot and Laure started talking about another baby that would complete their family. As neither of them was getting any younger, they started trying a few months later and were overjoyed when they conceived already after the first month they tried. Just weeks later they found out, there was another set of twins on the way, this time fraternal. The idea of seven children was enough for Laure to propose the big V to Elliot and surprisingly he had no objections. Their last two children, Adrien Lancelote & Antoinette Florence Turner de Vere arrived on 23rd December just in time to be the best Christmas present the family ever received. Adrien with his red hair and grey eyes was a bit smaller than his twin sister who is lovingly called Netty and has a head full of blondish curls and grey eyes. Their personalities are yet to be determined as for now all they need is their mommy, lots of cuddles and a clean diaper.

Time flies and Elliot and Laure have officially a teenager in the house, scary in theory. So far Sasha is making it very easy on them as he is mostly submerged in his world of music and compositions. Leni has just started fifth grade and not surprisingly math, biology and chemistry are her favorite subjects by far. Recently they've also signed Ani into gymnastics in a hope that she'll burn some of the excesive energy she has in there. She and also Merry and Gus are attending pre-school two times a week and enjoy time with their new found friends. Adrien and Netty are already a year old and they are both very active babies. Laure is rather sure that in addition to Ani and Gus they have another set of future athletes on their hands. Not everything was good this year thought as the family two dogs passed away in a span of a week of old age. The kids took it very hard and begged the parents for a new dog. The family visited a local animal shelter and agreed on a one year old golden retriever which they named Jazz, a name chosen by Sasha.

With so many active kids in the house it was only a matter of time until someone will get injured. In the end Gus was the unlucky one after he broke his arm when he fell unlucky while jumping from the table to his bed. After a month in gypsum and a few weeks of rehabilitation his arms is as new.

After years off the screen Laure got an offer that she just couldn't resist. With the older three kids in school, the older twins in kindergarten full time and the younger twins in pre-school three days a week, she felt her family could handle her going back to work. While Elliot works from home and is not tied up to any working hours, he still needs some helping hand with the kids, that's why the couple agreed to hire an au-pair. They finally chose Lindsey Collins a nineteen year old American who moved in with them for six months. The kids love her and Laure leaves the house content every time she has to, knowing they are in good hands.

Another two of Elliot's books made it to the bestseller list, now translated into over sixty languages they bring him a good chunk of additional money every month so the family has nothing to worry about money wise. The kids are growing up, Sasha is still taking his piano lessons, he decided to drop the violin and cello, which paid off as he placed 2nd in the Queen Elisabeth International Competition with his piano composition. The youngest ever to place on the podium, he already has his heart set on winning the competition next year. Leni is only thirteen, but already started high school. She was academically advanced and the teachers let her skip a year. She is a frequent competitor in chemistry and biology competitions and has some nice placements to her name. Ani still continues with her gymnastics lessons and loves it. Her trainer says she's the most talented kid he had ever worked with. Merry is Leni's shadow and shows great interest in biology and chemistry as well. There could be another little scientist in the family. Gus is taking gymnastics lessons as well to burn out his never ending energy, he has however his heart set on becoming a football player one day and begs his parents to switch the sport. Adrien & Netty have started with gymnastics as well and are enjoying it so far.

When Elliot and Laure bought and renovated their mansion they never imagined they'd have to leave it, but after a huge water leakage was found underneath the building they had to move out in order to get it fixed. Renting a five bedrooms apartment in Ixelles, the family moved closer to the city, they expect to stay at least six months until the leakage will be repaired. They already can't wait to return back to the country.

Never in their wildest dreams did Elliot and Laure expect to be grandparents in their early forties. They also had no idea that their shy, introverted son that lives in the world of music had a girlfriend. It took them a few days to come to the terms with the pregnancy, but they have been supportive ever since. Stéphanie, Sasha's girlfriend, moved in with them as her parents were less then supportive and gave birth to their first grandson and Sasha's first son on 23rd August, Emmanuel Alexandre Turner de Vere was born with a head full of daddy's red hair and with mommy's big brown eyes. He already shows interest in music as same as his daddy at that age, he loves falling asleep listening to the works of Beethoven and Bach.

A tragedy stroked the de Vere family this year. Laure's older brother Antoine and his wife Florence died in a plane crash, leaving behind their three kids aged 14, 6 & 3. Heart broken Elliot and Laure decided to take in the three kids and raise them as their own. Fourteen years old Guillaume is the eldest and now the heir to the de Vere family castle. With his red hair and blue eyes he is the carbon copy of his father, he also inherited his interest in technology. Elisabeth is six and looks just like her mother with her blond hair and blue eyes, she loves reading and is also very shy. The love for literature allowed her to bond with Elliot rather quickly. Three years old Claudine is the baby of the family, with her red hair and ice blue eyes she is a perfect mix of her late parents, she loves painting and could spend hours over the white sheets of paper.

With ten kids and one grandchild in the house, Laure finally gave up on her TV career and decided to concentrate on her large family. She has currently started a small crocheting Etsy business to keep her occupied when she is not driving the kids to and from their activities, planning family picnics or trips or babysitting her grandson.

When the second grandchild arrived Elliot and Laure were not even surprised. While Sasha and Stéphanie are still in university, they are also great parents to Emmanuel and expressed their wish to expand their family several times. They are in no hurry to marry though and Elliot and Laure only laugh when this topic comes up at family gatherings. Violette Laure-Marie Turner de Vere was born in one of Brussels many hospitals on 29th August with a head full of daddy's red hair and his grey eyes. While the young family was living in an apartment in Brussels before her birth to be close to their school, they have moved back to the family mansion much to Laure's and Elliot's joy.

No one is prone to injuries, not even Ani. Just in her last novice year, she tore her ACL on vault and had to take half of the gymnastics season off. With her positive nature she concentrated on her studies and improved her conditioning in the meantime and hopes to come back strong next year and make it onto the Belgian junior gymnastics team. Knowing their stubborn daughter, Elliot and Laure are rather sure she'll make it.

The grandchildren just keep coming! Laure sighed happily when Sasha called them on early morning of 31st December and announced the birth of his identical twin sons, Matthieu Elliot & Cyprien Amaury Turner de Vere. The whole family traveled to Brussels on the last day of the year to meet the new additions, Matthieu looks just like his momy, while Cyprien is the mix of his parents. It was also the perfect time for Sasha and Stéphanie to announce their engagement, after four children some of the extended family found it rather unnecessary, but the Turner de Vere's were all overjoyed and looking forward to the wedding, which knowing their son and daughter-in-law might take a few years to happen.

With Sasha and Stephanie already living on their own, it was only a matter of time until another birdie will fly out of the nest. After Leni was accepted to the medicine program of Yale University it was clear she will be the next one to leave not only the house, but also the country. She left already in August to get ready for her first semester abroad and Laure still gets sad when she thinks about her baby girl leaving them. Leni on the other hand, while homesick at times, loves her new school and life in the US.

At twenty five Sasha's talent had already crossed the borders of Belgium and he is a well known piano player across the Europe. He had recently landed a deal and will be going on a Europe tour with Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. He is already looking forward to enjoy the new experience.

Unknown to her parents Leni has moved in with her boyfriend of two years, Tim. What started as a summer flirt turned into a serious relationship rather quickly and Leni is already thinking how to tell her parents that she might stay in the US permanently.

After the family dog Jazz passed away last summer of old age, the Turner de Vere's were not ready to let another animal capture their hearts. Now a year later they adopted another golden retriever whom they named Melody.

After finishing the university studies it was clear that Leni had to confess. She and Tim traveled to Belgium to spend two weeks over the summer with her family and it was then when she sat both her parents down and told them she'll be staying in US. Elliot and Laure were not surprised in the slightest and fully supported their daughters decision. By the end of the two weeks she was not only happy by her parents reaction, but also engaged to her boyfriend and looking forward to a new job, which she landed in one of Boston's major hospital intensive care unit.

The year of weddings and grandchildren, that's what this year can be called according to Elliot and Laure. After six year long engagement and four kids, Sasha and Stéphanie finally got married in June. It was just a family affair at Brussels city hall as Stéphanie was at that time eight months pregnant with their fifth child. Ottilie Charlotte Turner de Vere arrived safe and sound on July 27th with a set of healthy lungs and head full of red hair and daddy's grey eyes. Especially Violette is overjoyed to finally have a sister in the house.
Leni and Tim got married at the family mansion in August with 150 of their friends and family around. Just before they left for Europe, Leni found out that she's been promoted after only one year at her job, apparently she is the record holder. That was one of the reasons why she and Tim decided to wait with kids for a few more years.
The wedding of the year according to the Belgian noble circles was the one between Guillaume de Vere and Victoire du Pouguet in January. As Guillaume is the heir to the de Vere family it came as no surprise that over 600 guests attended the grand occasion at de Vere family castle. After the wedding the newlyweds moved into the family castle together with Guillaume's elderly grandparents and on 11th November Victoire gave birth to their first son and his father's heir there. Antoine Guillaume de Vere was born with head full brown hair and blue eyes and received the names of his late grandfather and his father.
Ani sustained her second ACL tear crushing her Olympic dream just weeks prior to the start of the games. She subsequently decided to end her career as a sportsman and start her coaching career.
When it comes to Merry it looks that he will follow in Leni's footsteps. He is currently studying medicine at University of Leuven, but everything points in the direction that he'll be accepted to Yale next autumn.
Gus made it to the B team of Anderlecht Brussels, but heard already from several sources that the coach of A team has an eye on him. This prompted him to work even harder in a hope of making the main team and maybe one day in a not so far future he might join the Belgian national football team.
Adrien and Netty are in their last year of high-school but both are already fully committed to their sporting careers. Adrien is a long distance swimmer and is preparing currently for the World Junior Championships where he is one of the favorites on the 10 km track. Netty is so far the most successful junior figure skater Belgium ever had. After winning her Junior Grand Prix assignments in Colorado Springs and Ljubljana, she finished second in the final in Barcelona with two falls in long program. Now she has her eyes and heart set on the Junior World Championships where she wants to fight for the gold medal.
Elisabeth still enjoys reading and over the years became Elliot's main critique. She also leads the reading club at local library.
Claudine made it from finger painting three year old to a quite good painter. Her first exhibition is planned for next spring and she couldn't be more happier.
