[Games] Re: Compromise Game
I agree that Lysander is a must here. We both seem to prefer it. I like Lysander Rhys the best, as it flows well and seems balanced. In terms of other boy names I prefer Hugo and Raphael. For Hugo, Hugo Dominic seems to be the obvious choice. Though I like both Raphael combos, you seem to be leaning towards Raphael Sylvan and I'm happy to go with that. That leaves us with either Lysander Rhys and Hugo Dominic or Lysander Rhys and Raphael Sylvan. For girls... I'm not as happy with the girls names as I am with the boys names, but they're still good. I think my favorites, going by first names alone, are Fiona, Ivy, and Freya, in that order. So Fiona Sybil, Ivy Cressida, or Freya Rosemary.I don't know if this makes sense or not, but since both Lysander and Raphael are fairly long (three syllables), I would generally match them with another longer name. In this case, Fiona has the most syllables. Lysander and Hugo differ in length enough that I could pair them with any of the girl names. I think the Shakespearian feel of Lysander Rhys, Hugo Dominic, and Ivy Cressida is cool, so Ivy does seem the obvious choice if we decide on Lysander and Hugo.I think we're down to two choices:Lysander Rhys, Raphael Sylvan, and Fiona SybilORLysander Rhys, Hugo Dominic, and Ivy CressidaAre those good do you think? Or are there more choices you would like to add? Which do you prefer?

Raphael Andreas felt too German to me in combination haha. I liked how it sounded but it didn't fit with the other names so well for me. I agree that our boys taste is much more similar and we got lucky with the coin flip.I've been going back and forth on this because I like both quite a bit. I think between the two I would pick Lysander/Hugo/Ivy but if we found a perfect Fiona combo I'd likely lean the other way.Fiona Alice is pretty cute. I heavily associate it with Fiona Apple (which is not really a bad thing).
Fiona Cressida (kind of a mouthful but)
Fiona Hazel
Fiona Gwen
Fiona Gwendolyn (I like this!! very UK but. Gwendolen is fine too, just wrote the other spelling because both the other MNs have y's)
Fiona Ivy (even though it's a lot of "ee" this is a favorite)
Fiona Isobel (I think this fits well with the boys combos, just wasn't sure if "Isobel" was too fillery. I guess Rhys kinda is anyway)
Fiona Miriam I wish Fiona flowed better with Rosemary :bSome of these MNs seem less interesting than the boys. I just don't like the Sylvan/Sybil combination. I guess we could revisit Raphael either but I was happier with Raphael Sylvan.

I agree that Sybil and Sylvan are quite similar and it makes sense to try and find a better combination for Fiona. I don't mind any of those combos. They flow pretty well and are unique in their own way. I think in order I like:Fiona Gwendolyn (I'm not usually in to matching names, but connecting all the middles with a y seems neat.)
Fiona Alice (I've never heard of Fiona Apple...)
Fiona Hazel
Fiona Ivy (I'm going back and forth on this one. I really can't decide whether I like it or not.)
Fiona Isobel (I think my problem with both this and Fiona Ivy is the last a flowing into the beginning i. It's probably just me though.)
Fiona Miriam (A lot of ee sounds the way I pronounce it.)
Fiona Cressida
Fiona Gwen (I think something seems missing with Gwen not shortened.)

Fiona Apple's a singer-songwriter. It's just the Fiona A that makes me think of that.I'm happy with Lysander Rhys, Raphael Sylvan, and Fiona Gwendolyn. It's been fun!The Compromise Game actually migrated over to Name Games when it was brought up on Ops initially and I've ran two Congrats games kinda based on it. I'm now thinking of doing a third since it's been a few months. :)
