[Opinions] Re: Sabrina
in reply to a message by caille
I've loved Sabrina for many, many years. "Sabrina Fair" is a huge part of the reason why, in addition to "Sabrina the Teenage Witch." Sabrina Vivian was a favorite combo of mine for a very long time, until I decided I actually liked Vivian (or Vivienne) more as a first name.
Sabrina can be a little heavy for a little girl, but I don't think it's too preponderous for a child. And I could see an elderly woman with the name as well, as it has a certain regal quality. But I find Sabrina fits elegant, sophisticated woman best - like "Sabrina Fair" (and I mean both Audrey Hepburn and Julia Ormond's character interpretations).
Aside from Sabrina Vivian, I also like:
Sabrina Clarisse
Sabrina Constance
Sabrina Genevieve
Sabrina Lillian
Sabrina Rosalie
Sabrina Willow
Sabrina Winifred
Sabrina Wren
Whatever can lend it a magical vibe. :-)
