Amy is a great name, and you are right that it is more rare nowadays. I especially like that Amy was one of the sisters in "Little Women" and also cool but corny song named "Amy" from the 70s.

I'd go for it. I'd rather see an Amy than a Taylor or Indianna. I really like Amy Violet, Amy Rhiannon and Amy Rachel.
