[Opinions] Zoe, Chloe or Xanthe?
Which do you like better?
I love Xanthe and hsve for a while. I've never met one so no bad or good assosiations
I love Zoe too, especially the meaning, but I've known heaps (my best friend in highschool was named Zowie). My other kids all have common names so that doesn't worry me too much.
Cam loves Chloe. I don't hate it, but I don't love it either.
I've only met one Chloe in primary school (in my sisters class) she was nice enough.
Cam isn't sure about Xanthe. He'd never heard it before and wasn't sure how it was pronounced (he knows now). He prefers "normal" names.
He likes Zoe. Zoe is the only girl name (apart from Tori which we were going to name Blake had he been born a girl) we both like..
I just don't know. I'm not even pregnant but I like to think about things.
Of course I like other names too but what are your opinions on those three for now?
Cassie...girlfriend to Cameron and mum to Hayley Anne, Skye Louise, Nathan James and Blake Robert

Popular though Zoe has become, I still have to endorse it because it was my mother's name, and highly unusual at the time she was born and remained so for the entirety of her lifetime. Everyone thought my mom had a weird name and nobody, but NOBODY, ever said they liked it. I always felt a little defensive of it. I never thought I'd see it become popular. As far as I'm concerned, it can't become too popular because it deserves it, after its many years of being neglected and reviled, which I witnessed.
My vote is for Zoe.

Should be under OP.
Xanthe
I like all of them but I'd rather be a Xanthe. "Normal" names aren't normal anymore anyway. I think the main reason I prefer Xanthe is because Zoe and Chloe are pretty familiar to me, so I have "images" attached to them. And Xanthe isn't difficult or self-consciously strange, IMO. It's about like Xavier or Phoebe. People would pick up the prn fast.
Chloe - preppy style.
Zoe - more of an artsy style.
Xanthe - unpredictable.

Help?
I'm not clear about the pronounciation of Xanthe.I did look it up as best I could but still not really sure.
Zan-thay?

Thanks so much! It's a pretty name.
I like Zoe a lot. The only reason why I would never personally consider it for a real life baby is because my brother has a friend (and my cousin has a dog) named Zoe. I don't really like Chloe that much. I kind of like Xanthe, but as a GP. Of all those names I would choose either Zoe or Chloe because they go with your other kids.
Xanthe!
Of the three names, I like Xanthe the best!
To me it's an unique but at the same time classy name- not too corny but still feminine. I know that this one is getting more and more popular these days, but I don't care. I therefore don't think that Xanthe would cause any (pronunciation) problems.
The other names aren't too bad neither but they are kind of boring to me. They don't leave that much of an impression as Xanthe does it to me.
Zoe certainly has a wonderful meaning but I know so many Zoes as well as Chloes.
I'm not too fond of Chloe. It reminds me of "chlorine" or "cloaca". I hate this but it's there.
