I love Marcella! It is one of my absolute favorite names. I can't think of any reason why it wouldn't be usable. I saw a little girl with this name not too long ago, I think she was about 2 or 3 years old and it worked just fine.
In my head I say mar-SELL-ah, but I like both pronunciations. I also like the nicknames Marcy and Mara.
