[Opinions] Lee

I think it fine for a boy; the natural brevity allows a quick reference, and accordingly, would not promote teasing among children. I also think it fine for either gender, and I personally would not consider such a variety to diminish associations with masculinity.
Generally speaking, it's one I'd avoid. Seems very down-market and also past its popularity peak.
That said, I've got a brilliant step-nephew called Lee - leading light in nature conservation and one of the nicest people in the world. So my feelings are mixed.

Lee is my younger son's name. His name was far from my first choice, but it was all my husband and I could agree on. I considered changing his name but I decided against it. I like the laid back feeling and the meaning. What I really don't like about the name Lee is the connection with "General Lee". My husband assured me no one would think of that, but several people have said that his name seems southern as a compliment. I do not like that association.
Good name
I like it. It's the name of one of my good friends and it really suits him. I prefer it on a guy to a girl but I do see it as pretty unisex. I think it's simple and strong but kind of bland. My friend has such a big and awesome personality that it brings the name to life though.
Hate it
Can you elaborate? :)
Hi !!!!
When I was younger I liked it...
But now I think it is boring and overused.
