It's a good name, but I'd never use it. Around here I only know people of the same age as my parents with this name. I like Marion better (and I thought that was the name out of the Robin Hood story). I think I'm pronopuncing this name different from you, I say mah-ree-AHN (and Marion: mah-ree-ON)
