[Opinions] WDYT of Sky?
I love the name Sky for both genders. I'm having a hard time coming up with any middle names? Could you help me, by posting a list for GIRLS. I found my boys' name. What do you picture when you hear the name Sky?
What Siblings' would you good with Sky?
What do you think of this name in general?"There is none Holy like The Lord, there is none besides Thee; there is no Rock like our God." (1 Samuel 2:2 RSV)

I prefer the Skye spelling myself, but other than that, I think it's a pretty name.

I'm a child of hippies, so I like itTo me it's a hippie name, but a beautiful one. I would picture a little girl named Sky having siblings named Ocean, River and Canyon (I know real children - unrelated - who have these names). With Sky as fn, perhaps the following (and no, I'm not kidding, and I particularly like the ones with *):Sky Bliss
Sky Calliope
Sky Caprice
Sky Diamond
Sky Gemini
Sky Gypsy
Sky Ciela (see-AY-la, var. "cielo" Span. "heaven" I believe)
Sky Kelani
Sky Leilani*
Sky Maia
Sky Mariah ("...they call the wind Mariah")
Sky Phoebe* (for Phoebus Appollo, Greek sun god)
Sky Salome
Sky Selene
Sky Tatiana*
Sky VioletPerhaps using Sky as a mn, as in these combinations, would suit better:Andromeda Sky
Aurora Sky
Cassiopeia Sky (w/ this mn I would pronounce this "cass-ee-OH-pee-ah")
Celestina Sky
Cerelia Sky

I love a lot of suggestions! Funny you should mention River, and OCean...I plan on using at least River as a sibling! I also love Canyon."There is none Holy like The Lord, there is none besides Thee; there is no Rock like our God." (1 Samuel 2:2 RSV)

When I hear the name Sky, I think of the sky. I used to like it when it wasn't really popular but now I hear it ALL the time so I'm rather sick of it.

Hi Sabrina,
I love the name Skye! If our baby was a girl I think we'd probably name her that. Though I've never met anyone by the name, when I hear it I think of a sweet little girl with blonde hair and green eyes- I don't know why. For siblings, I think Caitlin, Collin, Sean, and Patrick would all work. And I'm quite at a loss for middle names for Skye, so I think I need some suggestions too!

Sky, as in the blue thing with clouds, is a nice name. But I prefer Skye, as in the Isle of Skye off the northwest Scottish coast. I'm used to place names being girl names, so that's what I'll stick to here:Skye Olivia
Skye Miranda
Skye Catriona
Skye Rhiannon
Skye Elena
Skye Elizabeth
Skye Aurelia
Skye Iolanthe (ee-o-LAN-thee)
Skye Persephone (per-SEFF-uh-nee)
Skye Ariadne
Skye Isabelle
Skye Astrid
Skye Linnea (li-NAY-a)
Skye Celeste
Skye Astraea (click on this one - fun story)

I prefer Sky(e) for a girl, but the idea of it for a boy is growing on me. I think I would prefer Skyler, nn Sky for a boy. How about:
Skye Laila
Skye Amelia
Skye Cordelia
Skye Aurora (a little themey)
Skye Adelaide
Skye Aine For the boys:
Skyler Tristan
Skyler Elliott
Skyler Corbett
Skyler Misha ----Betsy-----
