[Opinions] Sasha as a nickname?
What do you think of Sasha as a nickname for Alexandra? I wouldn't want to name a child just Sasha just in case they think it's too childish of a nickname for an adult and I've always liked Alexandra. Also, I get tired of the nicknames Alex or Allie for Alexandra so I thought this might be a great alternative.
Also, any suggestions for a middle name for Alexandra?

I totally agree. I cannot stand the nns Alex & Allie for Alexandra. They're just so overdone. I cannot imagine Sasha on a boy, but apparently it's primarily used as a boy's name. On a girl as a nn for Alexandra, it's great imo.

I like it better on it's own. But I have heard of it as a nn for Alexandra/Alexander.

I love Sasha, alone. I am not a fan of Alexander or Alexandra (or any Alex- names) but I love the meaing. Sasha is a great name, and I dont see it as a nn. I've met quite a few Sasha's of older and younger and they dont think its childish.~~Kris~~
