Alastair: Al-is-TARE
Alister: AL-is-ter
Alistair: Same as Alastair

Quentin: KWENT-in
Quintin: KWINT-in
Quinten: Same as Quintin
Quinton: Same as Quintin

I prefer Alastair and Quentin. Quentin is one of my favorite boys' names.
