[Opinions] Re: you picked a fine time to leave me, Lucille ...
My kids use to sing-
"four hundred children and a crop in the field,
you picked a fine time to leave me, loose wheel."They did know the real words.

how about ..."Took a crap in the field." lolActually, a few years ago, my stepfather was driving his tractor-trailer through Iowa during a vicious cold snap, and in that kind of cold a big rig can go only very slowly to avoid pulling in cold air and tearing up the engine. So he was poking along at 20 mph when a front wheel on the cab just came off and went sailing across the highway. If he'd been going at normal speed I don't want to think about what the results might have been.
Anyway, he called my mother to tell her what had happened, and began the call by singing "You picked a fine time to leave me, loose wheel. Thirty below and an icy windshield."
