Thank you to everyone who responded to my first post. I really appreciate all the feedback and It'll be helpful in making my final choice.

So the question is: what is your favorite nickname for Emily?

I prefer Emily without a nickname but if I had to choose, I would pick Em or Emmie.

I don't particularly have one, but...

I think Mimi would be a sweet nickname for Emily. It's not technically connected to it but that doesn't really matter. :-)

Em, Emi, Emmy, or Lili are all nicknames that I think would be feasible for it, too.

I don't think Emily needs a nn, but of the options (Emmy and Em) I prefer just Em.
