I would pronounce Jordan and Jordin differently, the second being much shorter ending. I think the spelling is also uglier on the page.
I don't really like Jordan, not because it's unisex but because I just think it sounds really clunky. I also associate it with a celebrity who is not very likeable over here, her real name is Katie Price but she goes exclusively by Jordan (UK).
That being said, I do quite like it in the middle for some 'frillier' names, like
