[Opinions] Prairie
I've found the prairie enchanting ever since I was a boy, but I never considered it on a human until I met a poet-scholar named Prairie in my graduate program. I think I'm smitten. Your thoughts?

I actually love Prairie as a name (wouldn't use it, though). Prairie Emmeline is so beautiful.
I met a woman named Prairie a few years back and thought it was cool. I think it was pretty.
I love it, but as a middle name. I like the idea of using it as a sentimental nod to the region I grew up in. If I ever moved away from the prairies, I would consider it. Out front the name seems a bit more hokey and bumpkin. I feel this need to protect it and put in all cozy in the middle.
But, I love these ideas of yours:
Prairie Anna - I love this. It's like an agrarian version of Pollyanna.
Prairie Beatrice
Prairie Cecilia - and I don't even like Cecilia!
Prairie Hester
Prairie Jeannette
Prairie Julia - gorgeous
Prairie Lila - adore
Prairie Madeleine
Prairie May
Prairie Millicent
Prairie Opal
Prairie Sibyl
Prairie Winifred - this one, yes. Prairie Winifred Margaret or Winifred Margaret Prairie would absolutely be on my list of "names that make me think of my homeland".

There is a Sesame Street Muppet called Prairie Dawn, and that's most Americans' association with the word as a name.
In theory I think it's pretty, but it really doesn't roll off the tongue easily. It's kine of like the word brewery that way.
Not too long ago I ran acros a news article about some woman up in South Dakota who was up on charges of ... DUI? embezzlement? I forget. Her name was Prairie Rose White Buffalo. White Buffalo being her last name.
I thought Prairie Rose was so pretty, but not really on an actual person. Even with a more Anglo last name.

I put this in the same group as names like Paisley, Tawny, Ruby, and Parley: diminutive and too awkward for me to take seriously.
Between your combos, my top three are:
1. Prairie Matilda
2. Prairie Helena
3. Prairie Susanna (spelled Susannah would have bumped it up to number 1; the added letter gives it a very attractive, balanced composition)

My niece has a best friend named Prairie and that was my first time hearing it (probably 3 years ago). I thought it was ridiculous at first, but it's been growing on me. I am from the Prairies, so it would be sentimental for me. I think I could easily be convinced to use it as a middle name, but as a first name it's just too whimsical for me. But if whimsical is for you, or if you are a poet-scholar, than by all means!
I can't quite get over how it sounds like a descriptor in combos though. Like, "Which Agnes?" "Oh, Prairie Agnes". :)

It makes me think of Prairie Dawn, from Sesame Street. But then, Prairie Dawn is a heckuva neat moniker!
In a similar fashion:
Prairie Rose
Prairie Meadow
Prairie Skye
Prairie Blue
Prairie Wren
Prairie Dove
Prairie Lark
Prairie Robin
Neat!

Prairie Dawn was a Sesame Street character.
I guess in theory it's not that different from Savanna?
I think I like it against my better judgement. I associate it with prairie dogs, pioneers, the words "prayer" and "airy", and a bunch of songs that have prairie in the lyrics.
Prairie Constance, Prairie Matilda, and Prairie Susanna were my favorite combos.
