Isis? Well...hm. Not the best name right now.
Iris and Violet would be nicer, or Iris and Rose, perhaps?

I love both but together? Asking for trouble and confusion.

How old were they?

idk why Isis is getting so popular. They're terrorist not names. That should be illegal. Thankfully I've never met anybody named Stalin, Adolf (Adolfo yes I have), Mussolini, or Capone

Well, Isis is an ancient name, and it was around loooong before the terrorists were. So I'm not quite following you.

Well, obviously that is a mite foolish. But also, I really don't like either name.
Oh well, perhaps they were cute, at least? :)

I wonder if they thought of Siri instead of Isis... Like Noel and Leon for boys :)

I like what they are trying to do (goddess sisters) and I like both names, but they are too samey. I'd have gone with Iris & Irene, Iris & Aurora or Iris & Freya. I'm sad that people are deeming Isis unusable now. Stupid extremists, ruining it. ....Iset is still ok though!

Maybe Isis will end up going by her middle name.

They are matchy-matchy but also mismatched. And I feel bad for poor Isis, having to hear everytime the news comes on, and probably knowing all her life now, that her name is now akin to being named Hezbollah or Hamas.

Isis is definitely a GP now though I suppose they were probably named prior to the group. Iris is lovely.Isis and Iris together? Nope.

Wow, their parents were so creative when naming them! ;)

Urgh! Not to mention that, these days, the connotations of Isis are REALLY unfortunate. But I do like Iris.

Oh dear.....in the hospital I work in we had an Emma and Emily last week. Apparently, twins don't deserve their own identity. Makes me sad.

I've seen Rachel and Raquel. And Mohammed and Mohammoud.

We had siblings at my daycare named Emma and Emily! It baffles me.

haha yeah...and I was watching a show about a pair of conjoined twins once, and they were talking about another set of twins who were conjoined the same way, and their names were Katherine and Kathleen. REALLY?????
