I have always loved the name Skye, but prefer the spelling Sky instead. It is a little hippyish, but that doesn't bother me in the slightest.
Farah does have a wonderful meaning, but I am not a huge fan of it. My DH is from a middle eastern background and we live in Australia, so I have heard a few Arabic names in use since we met. I suppose someone not of a middle eastern background could use it, why not?
