[Opinions] Re: Skye and Farah

Skye is one of those names that I like, but it seems like it had a huge boom in my area ten to fifteen or so years ago. So, I just know a lot of them. I like the idea behind the name, and don't consider it as hippyish as some other names, since Skye has become pretty mainstream. I mean, Lily could be hippy as a flower - but so many people use it that it lost the vibe.
I think Skye would be adorable with a sister named Olive or Tawna, or a brother named Bram or Eric.
Farah is my favorite name, so I am admittedly biased. I think it is just lovely in sound and meaning. It's so soft and simple, yet it's a bit quirky because it is an F-name. Any name that means "joy' is a great name to me, as that is my favorite meaning for a name. I think it totally works for just about anyone.
We were going to use it and we are not Arabic at all.
