[Opinions] my friend recently had boy/girl twins
The names are Christopher and daisy. Jen and Neil have another daughter Iona! Don't really think they go as siblingsThey also had a still birth 4 years ago named catrionaAnyway what would you name your b/g twins and two older sisters?

I love the sibset. It's slightly quirky but goes together well enough. The slight unexpectedness just gives it more interest. I find that names that are *all* the exact same style to be boring. If I had b/g twins, I'd go with Jasper & Ruby, or Solomon & Mira, or Tycho & Stella. Older sisters would be Sylvia & Iris.

The Chrestomanci books have given me a true soft-spot for Christopher, and because of Kit's Wilderness, I love the nn Kit. I love Kit and Daisy as twins, even though I'm not a huge fan of Daisy. Does Iona honour Catriona, maybe? I don't feel the three really go as siblings either, but that would make sense. I do love Iona, though.Today I'd choose Adele Calypso and Calanthe Seren as the older sisters, and the boy/girl twins would be Lyra Vashti and Evander Skye.

I think Iona and Daisy are pretty sweet together, and it's not unusual for people to have a different style for the opposite gender, so Christopher isn't too suprizing. Is there any chance Catriona was still born first and Iona was named after her? Otherwise I wouldn't use the two together.Mine would be:Xanthe Opal Esther
Iselin Carys Reverie
Sylvie Rowan Delphine & Oscar Felix Matthias.

Where is Iselin from? It's lovely, but somehow it makes me think of someone not knowing how to say Aislinn... I love Carys Reverie too. Iselin Carys Reverie is a perfect name (: And Sylvie Rowan is beautiful.

Thanks :) I love them too ;)Iselin is the Norwegian form of Aislinn!Norway is my favourite country in the whole entire world (and I've been to 54, so that's saying something). I love names that remind me of special people or special places or special experiences, and Iselin does all three. As do Sylvie, Rowan, Xanthe, Opal and Esther, actually.
The others are just there because I love them.

I don't like matchy-matchy twin/sibling names so I don't see the problem. Even with the daughter who passed away, one would conclude that Iona was named to honor her sister, provided Catriona was older.Audrey Clara (Probably called Clara)
Diana Pearl (Diana)
Cecily Genevieve (Cecily)
William Nicholas (Liam)

That was my assumption, that Iona's name honored Catriona.

I think Catriona and Iona together are ridiculous.
And you are right that the sibling group is a bit eclectic.Yolanda Ruth-Ann
Kezia Lise
Rafferty Miles & Mattea Plum

They don't really go together yet they do. The overall effect isn't bad at all and I really like the names, especially Catriona. My set (I feel in an Irish mood today):Caitriona
Aine
