Welcome to round seven!
This round, the third child gets a significant other, gender of your choice, and the eldest daughter has a son.
Optionally, the Dowager Consort may also remarry; as usual, their spouse's gender is at your discretion.
(NOTE: I noticed some players already gave their third son, the Prince, a SO last round. If such is the case, simply switch the orders around and replace said Prince with the illegitimate son for this round.)
The Prompt
A few years later, after the eldest daughter's marriage, it is her younger brother's turn to find a suitable match. Various prospective suitors, both local and foreign, noble and commoner, are rumoured to be the likely candidates. Fortuitously, the chosen spouse-to-be is popular with the people, and the match gains public approval. However, the eldest daughter did not hear the announcement for one simple reason: she was starting to enter labour! When her son is born, the first of a new generation in the royal family, the news was met with general rejoicing, marking the day as an especially jubilant one. Who is the son's betrothed? How did the daughter pregnancy and birth go?
The children are not the only ones granted the joy of a happy union. Over the years, the Dowager Consort had slowly worked through her grief and loss at the late Monarch's death. And now, many years later, she finds herself falling in love with someone again. Who is this person? Is it truly a second love, or had their love blossomed earlier than publically known? And should they marry, what will be the status of the Dowager's new spouse?

When the city of Keenor was destroyed not all of its residents were killed. The messengers who went to warn the rest of the Southlands survived the initial attack, although a few of them died later in the war. There were the few soldiers who were neither killed nor taken prisoner. And a small but not insignificant number of civilians made it out of the city, including the young noblewoman Sorna Greenbriar. The highest ranking person to escape Keenor, Sorna became a closely guarded secret in Duru, the city the she and most of the other survivors moved to, and a symbol of hope elsewhere. She and Efren are hoping to someday be able to rebuild Keenor.
Enola's first pregnancy and birth went much smoother than her mother's, with no complications at all. Her son Vieri has replaced Efren as her heir.

Two years ago...
Magnus Marek Idris Toril, son of Breccan and Kalila, Monarch of the kingdom of Sidonie, was taking his morning walk one day through the gardens. The sun was high and warm, beating happily down upon the beautiful kingdom under his reign. The birds chirped and cheered, encouraging everyone who passed by. Everything about this day simply brought a smile to Max's face. As he wandered through the gardens, heading into the orchards, he heard a sound: a musical ringing sound as that of laughter. Curiosity piqued, he followed the sound to an apple tree. Looking up into its branches, he spied one of the maid girls: pretty, brown-skinned, hair tied back out of her face, wisps falling down around her ears, blue eyes smiling, matching the color of the sky above. She was foreign, he could tell with one look, and certainly dirty from her work, but gorgeous all the same.
"Hello!" he called up into the branches. "May I inquire as to what you find so funny?"
His voice caught her off guard and she startled, toppling from the branches, catching herself. Proceeding to swing down to the ground, she fell in front of him. She picked herself up, dusting off her garments, snatching her book off the ground, and bowing respectfully before him. "Your majesty, I had no idea that you were coming down this way. I promise I will get back to work immediately. I had merely finished my morning chores and had come here to read for a short while before returning. I suppose the time flew by faster than I had realized. Forgive me."

Being just 10 months younger than his sister, a year after Eira's nuptials Tristan found himself bombarded from all sides with questions about when he would find himself a queen. "In due time," he would always reply, knowing it would not be seemly for him to admit he was not ready to be wed at just 17 years old.
Fate, it would seem, felt otherwise. It had fallen to Tristan to appoint a new emissary to the Kingdom of Varoe across the sea, and for the position he chose the distinguished statesman Lord Labhrás of House Carran. Labhrás' daughter Étaín accompanied him to the ceremony at the royal keep, and as soon as Tristan laid eyes on her, he knew he would have her to wife. He proposed the marriage right then and there, to the astonishment of Lord Carran and the rest of the court assembled for the occasion. Of course, the nobleman was not going to deny his king, and so Tristan and Étaín were wed within the fortnight, before Labhrás sailed for Varoe.
The joyous affair was made all the happier when, only hours after the wedding bells sounded, Eira was delivered of a healthy son, Ignatius. Her husband Titus had wanted to name the child after the old King Cadfael, but Eira insisted that the boy be his own person. "My father has had his time," she told Titus, "let our son now have his."

There was shock in the kingdom when Emperor Johann abdicated to be with his beloved Cristobal! With the scandal of his origin and this scandalous relationship, the royal family has now officially cut ties with Johann, who lives happily with his now husband Cristobal in Bermuda, where they run one outfit of Cristobal's family's shipping company, spend time on their yacht, and generally enjoy life. He feels no loss for leaving the royal life! The royal family does not know that Louise and Sebastian are still in close contact with Johann.
